Somewhere there’s a dad who probably lost custody for no other reason than being male. And is paying high child support so his ex-wife or girlfriend can shack up with this loser with a pit bull.
just watched the noon news here in dallas. A ft worth 85 year old woman was mauled to death by 2 pit bulls on Monday.
concealed carry works on pit bulls, too.
and if the 2 year old daughter is hurt, also on the owners.
Only the owner should be shot. The pit bull is just being a pit bull. Its not his fault his owner is irresponsible. Why would the mother have her 2 year old daughter in the presence of a vicious animal owned by a man that is not the husband/father (assumption).

She is one of the managers at the apartment complex. She was ‘dog sitting’ for her
boy friend. None of the articles I’ve read give a reason why she was tending the dog.
The cops shot the dog but didn’t kill it so it was put done by animal control.
If “just being a pit bull” means killing people and liitle girls then the pit bull should be put down, shot, whatever it takes.
If one has to have a license to open a lemonade stand or cut hair then why shouldn’t our society DEMAND a license to have a kid?!

Day two: If u get pregnant with a kid you can’t support, the kid goes to a 18 year life school and u BOTH go to jail for 18 years! to avoid this, There is a little thing called a rubber. You can prevent a 20 year jail sentence by using it but u can save 50 cents cuz masturbation is free and never fails like condoms sometimes do!
When u get out of jail, u will owe society $200,000.00 for the cost of raising your brat! Then, if he screws up, you owe another $200,000.00 for the cost of prosecuting him and his jail,time.
Bottom Line: with these new laws, and to borrow our British friends word, you should stick to wanking and stay out of prison!
I am a dog person, always had them, raised them and trained them my entire life. I love my dogs. BUT!!! I will never leave any dog with a toddler alone with even my most trusted of dogs. NEVER. Any dog is a beast only a few genes removed from a pure wolf. It is a sad case. This woman is an idiot on so many levels.
Toddlers sometimes tease dogs and that can set the wrong dog off the wrong way.
And you can look on You Tube and find a dozen or more videos of pitbulls cavorting with kittens. Awwwwwww. How could an innocent pitbull be so MEAN?
At the same time, there is nothing in the article indicating that the woman left her child alone with the pitbull or that the child was teasing the pitbull.
You’re exactly right. I usually refrain from getting into these debates, but the simple fact is that the reason you read about so many pit bull attacks like this is because they have become the favored breed of faux macho cretins. The minute you outlaw them, the aforesaid cretins will adopt something else as their favorite breed, whether it be rottweilers, dobermans, German shepherds or labs. And if their breed of choice isn’t predisposed to be vicious, they’ll make them that way to reflect their own twisted psyches. Then you’ll see the same stories, but with different breeds referenced.
Granted, pit bulls are able to do more damage than a lot of breeds, and for this reason alone, people should be very wary of having them around children or in groups where a pack mentality can kick in. But the same caution, to an admittedly lesser degree, should be applied to most breeds and ultimately, the responsibility for such incidents will (and has to) fall upon the dog owners.
Meaning a pit bull should not be a domesticated pet and the owner should be responsible for the damages and injuries including death it causes and any mother who willingly brings a child any child regardless of age into the presence of a pit bull should also be held equally if not more responsible.
