I’m not talking about polical correctness. I’m talking about the political reality of the situation. You could have the greatest, smartest guy in the world talking and everyone will love him. Then he can say something like “Hitler was right. Donuts are delicious.” and that would be it for him. No one would listen to him again. That’s what’s going on here. I honestly don’t care about someone’s views on race relations or welfare. I like anyone that’ll stick a thumb in the Fed’s eye. But his support is going to wane because of a stupid comment and he’ll lose his cows. Game over.
“That is not to deny that atrocities were committed, but atrocities were not the norm and Bundy understands that.” So you fall into the camp of “oh it wasn’t THAT bad....”. Being owned by another human being is an atrocity in itself. Are you really that tone deaf? Do you REALLY think this is a hill Republicans should be defending??
I won’t temper my criticism in the least. Bundy is a blowhard who just shot himself in the foot. Within a week he will be totally out of the news, as all sympathy for him has pretty much evaporated.

I honestly don’t care. He can say whatever he wants. But a large number of people are going to view him as a racist. It’s not a crime, but his support is still going to wane. People are going to turn against him. I’m not saying it’s a good thing or a bad thing. But it is reality. He is going to regret saying it.
I view someone saying “the negro” the same way I would view anyone saying “that cracker”. It’s a word from a bygone era. Yes he grew up when that was social acceptable, but it is no longer. He’s going to be viewed as just another racist white guy that no one will give a crap about in 6 weeks. BLM will come in with FBI back up, take his cows and his ranch, and leave him homeless. And he will have no one except his family at his back. Any hope of an outrage from the general public to help him is gone.
No matter what Bundy said, the government still has no business taking over the land. The reason he was defended by those who came, is still the same reason. What he said doesn’t change that.
I hate to see the feds win on anything, and this one had a chance of a win for the people. Bundy really should have shut up... but that doesn’t change the facts of the original cause.
I hear over and over... that Bundy is breaking the law. What law is he breaking? The ones the left put into the books? Led by Reid’s appointment to the BML? There’s justice in that setup? If no one stops the land grab and the feds doing as they please.. it will get worse.

Except there is no “United Cracker College Fund” and there is a “United Negro College Fund”.
There is no Crackeroid (Caucasian) race but there is a Negroid designation of human kind.
Negro is a valid word to use and he was offering his personal view on Negro problems. Rev Wright, Rev Al, JesseJjr, NPB, Oprah and numerous other Black/Negro celebrities have done the same regarding their views on race.

And that’s pretty much how I feel. Like I said, someone could be right and perfect in what they say. But that makes no difference if they say something stupid and turns the public against them. The Feds will lie and make up any reason to steal and use any stupid statements they make to get support from the public. “Hitler was right. Tacos are delicious.” People will hate the person that said it and disagee about tacos.
Oh really? Well when the Feds come back (and they will) watch how many people show up to support him. And watch the news coverage. If there is any.

Yes I have.
You have heard the claim, but yes I have seen the detail facts on that. Totally spelled out, the papers BLM was forcing the other 50-odd ranchers to sign, the implications of what they were signing, and how it forced them out.
Bundy was wise to it and refused. You cant think BLM was being nice about it, do you? Those other ranchers were forced out, they did not go willingly.
We have a hero here, the last man standing.
He has opened Pandora’s Box on BLM, Reid, and all the other gestapo stuff going on. Texas and even all western states have sat up and taken notice - and are now in the process of doing things about what has been exposed - and headed toward them.

Thay may be true but it’s one-sided to me. For example, I was just watching a snippet of the O’Reilly flipping around and he had some idiot on about the recent Michigan affirmative action ruling. His name was George Washington, not kidding, representing attorney for some strange group called BAMN.

I don’t see people going off on him. And I bet if he was accused wrongly of a crime he’d get more support here than Bundy seems to get.
