Both chambers of the Missouri legislature have passed a bill to end the states involvement in the Common Core educational standards. One final committee approval is required before sending the bill to the Governors desk for a signature.

Isn’t Gov. Nixon a raving Leftist? Can’t see him signing a Commie Core “Dear John” bill.
It would have a veto-proof legislature but for Nixon. He appointed a Republican legislator to an executive office and then didn’t bother to call for the special election to replace him.
Hopefully after the fall elections this year Missouri will again have a Veto Proof Legislature in spite of Nixon dragging his feet.
That’s great to hear. I hope they get it done. Nixon won’t help.
Jaybird won’t sign it. He’s in the hip pocket of the unions.
How many states have done that and how many need to do it before it basically becomes void?
