Live elections results. Polls close in 20 minutes!

With 71.1% counted, McDaniel/Carey are only 900 votes behind. WOO HOO !!!
>> Another thread said the Delta counties will be heavy for Cochran and they havent reported yet. Is that true? <<
Sure. The Delta planters and the white business folks have long been big fans of federal money, going back to the 1920’s — flood control and all that.
But outside of Washington, Leflore and Bolivar Counties, I think there are hardly enough white voters in the Delta to make much difference. Therefore, whether the Delta has a big impact in this election may depend on how many blacks cross over to vote in the GOP primary.
My question as well. Holding votes back is a Dem trick.
I don’t doubt that they’ve (Dims) worked hard for him. They’ve likely collaborated with Rove, to boot.
Marshall county going for McDaniel in a big way
With 71.8% counted, McDaniel/Carey are 1,000 votes behind.
Does anyone know someone in McDaniel campaign to ask about Hinds still at 76%
Yep only two Delta counties left, and 7 inland counties.
Crossroads GPS
Marshall is next to Desoto County.
Yes. As long as it’s under 50. Praying so!!!
My home county. My dad called and blasted me for voting against his old friend Thad. Told him times have changed
>> McDaniel has actually won Forrest county <<
Yep, you’re right. Looks like the Forrest County folks aren’t as down on a Jones County man as I had thought!
T. Cochran (i) 50.4% 110,244
C. McDaniel 48.0% 105,089
Come on MS. DITCH COCHRAN!

That homemakers husband, William Shows, was the head of the Pearl River Valley electric cooperative. Electric cooperatives have been the number one source of campaign contributions to Thad Cochran over the years. Sources tell me the homemakers husband also sat on the board of the bank that helped finance the transaction.
That would be Trustmark Bank, which is currently having FEC trouble over a campaign loan to benefit Cochran.
Likewise, Trustmarks CEOs Richard Hickson, contributed to Cochrans campaign in 2000, 2001, and 2007. In 2008, Trustmark got $215 million in TARP funding from the federal government.
Now, heres the real kicker. Ms. Webber and Mrs. Shows bought the house for $1 million with, it appears, $200,000.00 down and a $800,000.00 mortgage in 2001. At the time Ms. Webbers congressional salary was less than $100,000.00 a year and Mrs. Shows, who only had a 1% interest in the home according to individuals who have seen the paperwork, listed her occupation as a homemaker. A year after the purchase, Mrs. Shows gave Ms. Webber her interest in the home making Ms. Webber the sole owner.
Certainly a democratic trick. Hinds is holding back to determine how
many more votes they need to “find” to overcome McDaniel in rural
areas.
Sickening dirty trick.
With 74.3% counted, McDaniel/Carey are 1,700 votes behind.
OMG! McDaniel just pulled ahead
