Why do you invite.... nay, pay.... for someone that hates you to invade your home and have a voice?

Shoot your television (At a range, taking all appropriate safety precautions).

It will be the best thing you ever did.

This one could be a while.
The real numbers we are looking for are

McDaniel passes 50%
Or keeps Cochran under 50%

Looking county by county, Cochran got good results in two, but McDaniel blew him out of the water in some others.

Is Cochran’s lead with 1% significant?

I've seen more exciting porch paint drying contests.

The results are really trickling in.

Getting better. Is this a runoff if neither gets over 50%?? Impossible unless Carey pulls out something special, but still.

No big deal. One cannot get a trend with 1%.

When is the last time that an incumbent senator (from anywhere) was defeated in a primary?

Has it ever been done?

I'm just trying to judge the magnitude of the task...

Yes. New law requires 50% to avoid runoff.

Ummm.... 2012? Dick Lugar was ousted by the state treasurer in Indiana. Others have lost at conventions, like Bennett in Utah
