I was on the road before 0600 this morning. I hurt my back this morning pulling my walker out of the car upon arrival at the Office. Took Aleve this morning with little effect. This evening, I took a Percoset after returning home - providing marginal relief.

Thus, it will be another early night - must get horizontal. :)

Even “God Bless America” had an intro when Irving Berlin wrote it in 1917 for his Army review, “Yip Yip Yaphank”. I heard the intro done at Yankee Stadium a few years ago during the 7th inning stretch at a World Series game.

Kate Smith always sang the intro, at least in every film I have ever seen of her singing it.
