A student is suing Occidental College in Los Angeles for expelling him after a female student allegedly sent text messages indicating she had wanted to have sex, arranged for a rendezvous, then one week later accused him of sexual assault.
The case is the latest to follow the Obama administration’s new effort to crack down on campus rape.
The plaintiff, who filed anonymously as John Doe, said the female student texted him asking if he had a condom, informed a friend she was “goingtohave ‘sex” (sic) and coordinated a route to his dorm.
Police investigated and decided not to prosecute, but the male student was expelled, because of “pressure from the federal government to take action on sexual assault,” according to the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, which is working on the case.

Yes. The message of sexual purity is indeed soundly rejected by the American people. Our decadence goes well beyond homosexual marriage. How can one say homosexuality is immoral and then turn around and say hooking up is A-OK? Sadly, too many Christian parents have long compromised morality in regards to fornication, and now they are compromising on sodomy. I do not stand in judgment of the people who do such things, but I won’t hesitate to call it all sin.
I agree that sex that’s reserved for marriage can serve as an extra bond for that couple. It’s not only moral/not sin to stay chaste, it’s good practical advice for this world. In my opinion, the more one shares oneself with others before marriage, the less likely one is to have a special bond with the person they eventually marry.

As well it should. But this is the only logical attitude that feminism can instill in men. If we are going to be treated like rapists anyway, whether we are rapists or whether we are pure as the driven snow, then we may as well get laid.

Let’s walk through the unintended consequenses of laws like this...
- as hinted at in the article, the burden of proof is going to be on the accused NOT the accuser (he was expelled based on her accusations)
- given what we know about human nature, 99.99% of the accused are going to be males. This will make a lot boys gun shy, especially after a few sacrificial rams have been made examples of.
- This means the sexually revolution and free sex will come to a screeching halt (appropriately enough, where it started, in California) and most men won’t want to touch an uncommitted gal with a ten foot pole (or any size pole). Most men will now only take a chance with a woman in a truly committed relationship (married, or steady couple planning a wedding)
- So guess what? The liberals have inadvertently brought us back to the old Traditional/Christian morality, something they’ve been fighting tooth and nail for decades. Isn’t that nice of them?
