They can even accuse McCarthyism and have fun with that.

People were warned in the beginning to beware GOP takeovers of the TEA groups. the fight isn’t purity. The fight is a black op within TEA groups. Hell, a couple are openly GOP controlled.

The purity meme is a screen. Nothing more.

“Hell they would vote for a Rusty Nail if it was a well established part of the K-Street lobbyists...

You have a point but I still say they hate conservatives but so does K street so that may go to your point as well...

Good info on Scalise. 1 out of 2 ain’t bad. Let’s hope he can be reelected to the spot after Nov.

Hanna is so left-wing, he probably voted for Pelosi to be GOP Majority Leader.

“Republicans are the slightly-less-left than the Democrat wing of the Big Government party”

>> We’ll never know the official ballot results, names OR numbers.

It’s a closed vote?

And another worthless RINO. The GOP keeps shooting itself in the ass

They are only shooting themselves in the ass if they’re aiming to embody conservative ideals. The fact that they CONSISTENTLY embody liberal ideals should tell you something. It should tell you that the liberal ideals are actually what they’re aiming at and they’re not missing the target.

“Let’s hope he can be reelected to the spot after Nov.”
And with a new conservative Speaker and/or Majority Leader!

A conservative Whip is not enough. For Leadership to be effective half should be conservative.

I fear the RINO plan is to work to keep Leadership as it is-1/4 conservative- next year. That will mean a continuance of the disastrous policies we’ve had or a crippling rebellion.

This is about as surprising of news as Red Hampshire picking the next GOP presidential nominee.

No, the GOP is wisely keeping its power. WE are shooting ourselves in the ass by continuing to vote for them.

A Republican could win the Presidency again...but he will be a very left-wing Republican. Therefore the Party is dead.

The GOP does not wish to run or govern on conservative principles, they as a whole are embarrassed by us, and are counterproductive to our cause.

With each passing day, more Americans are dependent on the R & Ds for their livelihoods, be it gov employment, or gov hand-outs.

The Rs see this, and know they cannot win as a conservative party anymore. They will never return to those days again.

From Cantor to McCarthy.

Obviously, the majority of the Republican House caucus is not interested in pushing a conservative agenda.

“I think McCarthy will be terrible, personally, but who knows?”

Agreed. He will be terrible.

“Maybe he’ll rise to the challenge.”

Stoop to the challenge is much more likely.

Who is Kevin McCarthy? What is he infamous for?

My favorite place for the answer to that question.

Notice it was a “secret ballot” and they won’t report the final totals.

I hope someone leaks it.
