Chris McDaniel: I was “betrayed” by the GOP establishment
MOFO Politics ^ | 25 Jun 14 | MFP

Posted on 06/25/2014 7:35:18 PM PDT by xzins

Chris McDaniel, onthe blatantly unethical and illegal tactics employed by Thad Cochran and Haley Barbour in the Mississippi GOP runoff Tuesday…

“McDaniel: I am a two-term state senator, I have fought for this party my entire life, I’ve given money…I’ve done everything they’ve asked me to do– and last night, they pulled over 35,000 Democrats into a Republican primary to defeat me…we feel betrayed.

Hannity: Do you foresee any circumstance under which you would support this guy? Because I don’t think I could do it.

McDaniel: I prayed about it last night…my core principle is gonna have a hard time even looking at politics again.

Hannity: You sound like you got punched in the gut. You sound like you’ve been betrayed.

McDaniel: Sean, I was…I have fought for these people. These are my colleagues. They are my friends…I don’t understand!

But Ted Cruz has bigger fish to fry… “

“I certainly congratulate my colleague, Thad,” Cruz said on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning, pointing out that the Republican establishment poured millions into the Mississippi race and only won by a thin margin. Cruz reminded the hosts that he did not endorse a candidate in the Mississippi primary, as he promised to stay out of incumbent Senate races.

As does Rand… “

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a potential 2016 presidential contender, declined to support tea party critics of Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran’s efforts to mobilize non-GOP voters to win the Republican nomination.

“I’m for more people voting, not less people voting,” Paul told reporters Wednesday.

Depends on your meaning of stupid. You can be very well educated and still be stupid. Many PhDs remain horribly stupid after getting their degree. How many MDs hate guns and abandon science all in the cause of “gun control”?

If the herd of cats could stop its circular firing squad long enough, a truly viable third party could appear.

Trouble is, we are so estranged from God (except for a few of us) that the devil will have little trouble picking such sentiments apart. A spirit of vengeance will trump a spirit of grace, and the result is that nothing good will be spawned.

UNLESS there is an explosion of new and revived belief in this land. I never say never. Maybe God has set up to permit all this evil so that nominal believers will wake up and call on their God again... note I didn’t say vote or even write their Congressmen, but call on their God... and to a sincere call God will always answer yes.

He should have taken it on TV, put it on camera and challenged the GOP to have someone come and explain themselves face to face ON camera..

That’s the way to put it... it “opened my eyes.” Seeing Palin being attacked, undermined and backstabbed by the Party leadership, all happily conspiring with the lib media... that did it for me.

I couldn’t even watch the 2012 GOP convention. I’d watched and enjoyed every GOP convention for decades, since I was in my teens. But this time, I couldn’t even bear to watch any of it. I knew these people no longer represent my values, my beliefs, my ideology. They indeed spit in my face. And they’ve continued to do so, here with McDaniel. This travesty with Cochran, with the GOP-E operatives telling black Dems to vote for Thad to “protect Obama” and combat the “racist” tea-partiers... is truly the lowest of the low.

These GOP-E guys are the scum of the earth. I want them to rot in hell, and if they take the Republican Party down with them, so be it.

And this is exactly the kind of spirit that will cause any attempted third party to pick itself apart.

I’ll never send another dime to the GOP ever again. They can go ask their new Democrat voters they discovered in Mississippi for money.”

Same here. After decades of supporting the GOP, I will now only give money to candidates that I choose that are conservative.

I quit them some time back. I now give only directly to the candidate. For a while I was passive aggressive by sending back the GOP’s postage paid reply envelopes stuffed to the gill with scrap paper. I would have taped it to a brick if I thought the post office would deliver it.

Doctors are not inherently ‘smart’. See the reams of malpractice cases for proof.

That’s ‘so’.

The “lessor than two evil” strategy took a beating last night in MS.
The GOPe’s used democrat tactics against members of their own party.

Cornyn is the liberal republican bastard that I can not vote for. And the one I will work hard to make sure others don't vote for.

I was using Cornyn as an example of what conservatives should do for liberal republicans.

And if people can't remember if it was Cochran or Cornyn that had a problem with farm animals... I'm not going to try to fix that problem.

I said what I meant. I meant what I said. I'm fully informed of all the facts. 3 senators are on my list for the general election: Cornyn (The one from my state), Cochran, and McConnell.

McStupid was NO WAR HERO; being an incompetent pilot then a prisoner does not make one a hero!

Been saying that for years. Met a guy who was in his class at the USNA. McCain was third from the bottom in that class and the joke was all you had to do to graduate was finish ahead of McCain on the order of merit list. That class had the record for fewest number of Midshipmen dismissed for performance; EVER!!!

The only reason he got in was because his dad and granddad were Admirals. It's also the only reason he was selected for pilot training.

You can rest assured that the devil, too, wants them to rot in hell too — and you along with them.

Worldly efforts will not pull America back together. Only a common call for the salvation of the Lord could do so.

It did. But yet we still see excuses today all over FR.

Lesser evil is the heroin of politics.

Is there anyone left on this board who still roots for this a--hole? If so, step forward and state your name. Face your teammates like a man, don't hide like a coward.

“Lesser evils” (BUT with God bearing their sin) is the only thing there IS in the world that can see any gain.

America is weak, and a spirit of vengeance and blame will complete the job of it picking itself apart.

Is there ANY WAY this could be USED by McDaniel against the repubebican elite?:

“The Republican Party made an agreement 30 years ago with the Democrat Party NOT to ensure voting integrity and NOT to pursue suspected vote fraud.

Yes. You read it correctly.”

“As modified in 1987, the Consent Decree defined “ballot security activities” to mean “ballot integrity, ballot security or other efforts to prevent or remedy vote fraud.””

Norm, I have come to realize that some people like being $hit on.
They enjoy it. It floats their boat. The more the GOP dumps on them
the more excited they get. Can’t explain it, but they like being dumped on.
