Chris McDaniel: I was “betrayed” by the GOP establishment
MOFO Politics ^ | 25 Jun 14 | MFP

Chris McDaniel, onthe blatantly unethical and illegal tactics employed by Thad Cochran and Haley Barbour in the Mississippi GOP runoff Tuesday…

“McDaniel: I am a two-term state senator, I have fought for this party my entire life, I’ve given money…I’ve done everything they’ve asked me to do– and last night, they pulled over 35,000 Democrats into a Republican primary to defeat me…we feel betrayed.

Hannity: Do you foresee any circumstance under which you would support this guy? Because I don’t think I could do it.

McDaniel: I prayed about it last night…my core principle is gonna have a hard time even looking at politics again.

Hannity: You sound like you got punched in the gut. You sound like you’ve been betrayed.

McDaniel: Sean, I was…I have fought for these people. These are my colleagues. They are my friends…I don’t understand!

But Ted Cruz has bigger fish to fry… “

“I certainly congratulate my colleague, Thad,” Cruz said on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning, pointing out that the Republican establishment poured millions into the Mississippi race and only won by a thin margin. Cruz reminded the hosts that he did not endorse a candidate in the Mississippi primary, as he promised to stay out of incumbent Senate races.

As does Rand… “

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a potential 2016 presidential contender, declined to support tea party critics of Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran’s efforts to mobilize non-GOP voters to win the Republican nomination.

“I’m for more people voting, not less people voting,” Paul told reporters Wednesday.

It is equally unbiblical to fail to forgive seventy times seven.

And certainly yours will lose, and it will pull you down with it if you do not permit the grace of God into your life. Period, no qualifiers.

To be honest there should be as much consternation against Cruz as there is against Rand. However, didn’t Cruz, and Sarah, support the guy in Oklahoma - the one who got creamed? So why didn’t Cruz take a stand in this race?

Maybe we could each send the NRSC 40 pieces of fake silver.

Nah, they probably wouldn’t understand it anyway.

Yes, you will go with a religion.

I will go with God Himself.

I got a call from the Republican Congresional commitee. I got to rant about the Cochran affair, and that I will never give a dime to them. Tea Party OK. They tried to deny that Cochran went after Dem votes.

I told them to take me off their call list. Whew that felt good!

Hope I do not burst your bubble, but being a doctor does not necessarily denote high IQ. Specialists, maybe, but not the rank and file.

The “lessor than two evil” strategy took a beating last night in MS.

The new clever party campaign slogan, "Vote for the lesser evil"

Go team evil! Vote evil!

Those who refuse to get on board are even more evil!

Ted Cruz is not to be trusted. What a disappointment.

I am amazed at how many so called christians wear their faith on their sleeve and make excuses for flat out accepting evil as long as the word ‘lesser’ is attached. Excuse after justification after excuse.

Is Franklin Graham a "so called Christian"?

Well there is a Biblical justification for evil apparently as we see in the above posts so why not. I learned something new today!

Write in Chris. Let the person with the most votes be the write-in who doesn’t get elected because MS disenfranchises its voters.

Let that swirl around the country and see if MS changes their stupid laws.

Betray them back. I hope McDaniel wins his challenge, which would prove that Democrats cheat, and the Republican left promotes it. If that doesn’t work, McDaniel should run as a write in.

Cochran has been on the public dole for so long, he will do anything to stay on it. It’s time to send him packing with his Depends, any way it can be done.

So why didn’t Cruz take a stand in this race?

At the outset of the primary season, Cruz announced that he would not get involved in any primary race where there was an incumbent.

This was done so that he wouldn't be in the position of having to support Sen. John Cornyn in his primary race -- as a favor to the Texas Tea Parties.
