The people who are trying to advance the idea of bolting the Republican Party and starting a third party are Democrats. Their strategy is called “Divide and Conquer”.
To: don-o
The most powerful, immediate response to this crap would be for Mississippi conservatives to refuse to vote for either candidate in the general election. If the GOPe sees that this behavior is going to cost them elections and power they may think twice.

Could you explain that for me. Are you saying just leave the race blank? Thanks.

Was it Reince Preibus who designed the crazy election laws in Mississippi? In most other states, you win a plurality of 49 percent and you are the nominee. Mississippi throws in a run-off and open primary and it is Preibus’ fault?

The people who are trying to advance the idea of bolting the Republican Party and starting a third party are Democrats. To be clear, Viguerie is not calling for 3rd party. I think he IS advocating for a SECOND party.

I just got a call from the RNC wanting money. I said “No way, I’ll remember Mississippi.”

Is this over? I thought McDaniels’ people were investigating fraudulent votes and were planning a legal challenge.

Rules for primaries are decided state by state.
In Tennessee, for example, we have open voting and winner take all - no runoff. The worst of all possible.

Yes, don't vote for either candidate or write in Chris McDaniels as a write in vote.

Your posting history shows that you are a pro-GOPE troll.
The GOP isn't conservative. It must be politically destroyed. It certainly can't be allowed to have a Senate majority, with the liberal republican leadership in charge.

Thanks. Leaving it blank or writing in a name would
effectively say the same thing.

Your posting history shows that you are a pro-GOPE troll. fwiw, I really hope we can stick to issues. An honest disagreement over strategy does not automatically indicate bad faith as far as conservative credibility.

Check out breaking news articles on the sidebar. Big, ugly allegations since yesterday that may blow up the MS powers that be like Barbour and Cochran.
