Thank you! That is beautiful!

I'm trying to chop nuts for a cake. Tomorrow my oldest will be 43 and I promised I'd bake. It's finally cool enough. Then they go home and leave the grandkids. Hmmmmmm............LOL

Yes, but we thank God for the loyal FReepers who do think enough of FR to keep it funded. They always come through for FR and we couldn’t be here without them.

FReepers are the absolute greatest!!

Thank you, Virginia!

The Old Cape Henry Lighthouse
Virginia Beach, Virginia

The Old Cape Henry Lighthouse, located in Cape Henry Virginia, was the first lighthouse in Virginia to be authorized and completed by the newly organized Federal Government in the year 1792. Octagonal in shape, the Cape Henry Lighthouse was built with hammer-dressed stone and was one of the first three lighthouses built by John McComb, Jr.

In 1870 the Cape Henry Lighthouse started to crack, and was replaced with the new Cape Henry Lighthouse only 357 feet away, which today operates as a navigation aid for the U.S. Coast Guard. The Old Cape Henry Lighthouse was registered as a National Historic Landmark, and now serves as the official symbol for the City of Virginia Beach.

Another 2 months of “we need FR now more than ever”

And we do need FR more than ever with the turkey in the WH.

If all FReepers who can afford to contribute would do so in the first month of the FReepathon would do so it would solve it.

OK, Here we go again. Having some real difficult times with the ol’ ‘puter right now. It’s make believing it’s HAL. Shuts down on me in the middle of reading articles at FR, and logs me out too. STRANGE things happening with this ol’ beast, but I’m fightin’ back and slipping in a whole new ‘puter with Windows seven. Sayonara to the old XP. Goin’ to miss it after all the years, but have to move on.

$40.00 as usual on its way via snail mail tomorrow.

Will be back lurking, and posting occasionally in a few days.
