You are wrong. He did the right thing. If people just keep caving time after time to this sort of lawlessness, the crooks will just be emboldened to do the same thing or worse in the future. Someone has to stand up to them. At least their tactics have been exposed. I respect him greatly. Purging the Rhinos should start now. He is nothing like a sore loser. I see him as a patriot who is fighting for this country.

Nope. No way. No sale.

The Cochran campaign relied on courting black Democrat voters by despicably playing the race card against McDaniel, resulting in many of these voters illegally casting their votes in the GOP Senate runoff race after having already voted in their own party’s primary. This is all about the GOP Establishment making sure no more conservatives ever challenge the RINO “good ole boys” club and seeing to it that their hand-picked candidates comply with the Chamber of Crony Commerce’s burning desire to ram though an amnesty bill and keep Obamacare fully in place.

Meanwhile, McDaniel is a genuine Constitutional conservative Tea Party candidate in which the majority of REPUBLICAN voters in Mississippi voted for him to be their state representative. So with all this said, I hope McDaniel challenges the runoff results to the bitter end. And in the event that McDaniel is denied, I will absolutely NOT support Cochran in the general election this November and I honestly don’t care at this point if his Democrat opponent wins since there is practically no discernible difference between the two.

I would absolutely support this but is he permitted to run as a write-in candidate? I keep hearing that he would not be allowed to do this under Mississippi law.

So you think we need a Senate led by McConnell and populated by “solid Republicans” like McCain, Graham and Cochran? I disagree, it is not like putting those clowns in charge of the Senate will change a thing in DC. People need to stop rolling over for and start standing up to the ruling class thugs of both parties, as McDaniel did.

For once I don’t agree with Senate majority as #1 priority. Someone has to draw a line and McDaniel is the only one doing it. If we just say, “ok, you cheated but I’m going to move on to fight another day” then we’re saying it’s ok to cheat.

Voter fraud is NEVER ok. Dragging in the homeless who don’t even know who’s on the ballot to vote is NEVER ok. Pushing for Dems to violate the law by voting in their primary and the Republican runoff is NEVER ok.

I don’t live in MS but am bursting with pride over Chris McDaniel. I hope he keeps fighting. I can only send $ and pray he has enough to stay in the game despite all the crooks.

I think the point Ann is making here is we are going from the potential of winning three seats to losing three seats. Cochran cheated, Cochran lied. Yes, he did. And there isn’t a damn thing McDaniel can do about it...now.

Funny, the same people who call for Obama’s impeachment are the same people who are saying we should give up the senate to the democrats because we won’t get for RINO’s.

I don’t want RINO’s either. But in order to get rid of them, we have to alter our strategy. Rule of thumb. ALWAYS make changes when you are on the winning side. And don’t speculate what will or what won’t happen.

Final thought. You think it is bad with Cochran cheating? Look at it this way. Once Childers gets in, that seat is gone for good. A least with Cochran, there can be a succession plan where a conservative can inherit the seat.

Your 30 yr. old strategy is why the country is in the miserable shape we are now. Voting for the lesser of two evils and taking care of the RINO’s later has NEVER worked and NEVER will.

How can you remove the leftist in the GOP who make the rules in the party? How do you get into the position to change the rules—you will not be allowed to ever get that chance. You are prescribing the same failed policy we have had since 1988.

And I ask again, why would the GOPE want the votes of conservatives at this point? With the Mississippi bridge burning they orchestrated why would they want to go into the general election courting the votes of the very people they labeled as racist kooks?

It isn’t over, there are still court options. Some mention that we can get rid of rinos later, if you look it’s getting more difficult with them using democrat tactics and money against us. We need to take a stand now and we don’t need to abandon a warrior Conservative who is fighting for the seat, remember the reaction from Conservatives to Norm Coleman in Minnesota who wouldn’t challenge the election results against al franken? This stand is more important than a Senate seat that will be controlled by haley barbour.

Difference here is Norm Coleman was the Republican who got screwed by the Democrat. And while I agree with you on your points, I differ in now is not the time to make a stand.

If we don’t take back the senate now, this is what we lose.

The ability to:

1. Remove of Eric Holder from office.
2. Stop Obama picks for judgeships, especially the replacement of Ginsburg.
3. Impeach Obama and try to remove him from office
4. Stop the madness at the IRS and EPA.
5. Figure out what happened at Benghazi.
6. Shut Harry Reid up.
7. Stop any reconciliation efforts should some bill make it out of the house.

Now granted, we can speculate that a republican senate won’t do any of this and will bow down to the rats and Obama. But in saying that, with the direction the country is going in, do you really want to take that chance?

Frankly, I don’t. I would rather have a republican led senate, and let loose someone like Cruz and Lee to take issues directly to the American people, forcing RINO’s into positions where they have to agree.

That’s just my dos centavos.

I know 95% of the people on this forum are going to disagree with me, but McDaniel didn’t stand a chance at reversing the results of this election.

* Fighting for the truth should never be predicated upon the chances of winning. At the start of our Revolution no one would have said we could win.
The fix was in from the top to the bottom.

*All the more reason to fight.

He should have swallowed his pride, accepted the defeat and lived to fight another day. And everyone would have respected him and realized that at the end of the day he was the better man.

*Who would have respected McDaniel as a “better man?” Would that be Nancy Pelosi or Karl Rove or the New York Times? So the victim should allow himself to robbed without a word of protest so the New York Times and the Left and you would “respect” him?

Instead he’s come across as a sore loser and his followers don’t understand the big picture here. We need the senate.

*Now you have shown your true colors. You really don’t care who is or is not a “sore loser.” You care about electing Republicans and American freedoms be damned.

We need the senate. We can purge these rinos over time... and make them vote the right way by the pressure we put on them.

*I see you don’t understand that this battle is between the Washington Uniparty and actual Americans. This election and its aftermath proved that there is just one Party with a Republican and Democrat wing. I’m of the American Party myself and don’t care about old Thad.

The irony of all of this is that there is a growing chance that Obama will poison the well for Democrats so much that the Republican wing of Uniparty will win enough seats without Thad when people support Childers or maybe just maybe if McDaniel wins with a write in which might be illegal under Mississippi law but is legal under superseding federal election laws.

Norm Coleman was criticized for not fighting back against a democrat, I believe we should stand against election fraud regardless of who’s doing it. Where are we when the populace loses faith in the electoral process? or should I say lose faith in the system that would allow us to regain faith in our electoral process.

With the present Republican leadership and makeup the only difference it may make is to make reconciliation of House and Senate bills easier and more advantageous to Republicans.

With McConnell controlling the Senate I believe he will do his best to stifle senator Lee and Cruz, Boehner in the House is now working to stop Senator Cruz’s legislation regarding the illegal immigrants if it comes to the House.

They profit from what they did in Mississippi and they will increase their efforts to crush Conservatives. They apparently aren’t concerned that they could lose Conservative support, why should we believe that they will begin to listen to and support their Conservative base?

How do you believe we can be helped by the Cochran/barbour vote in the Senate especially on immigration/amnesty? matters.

I can’t. But I surely can’t if Childers is there.

Barbour leads the pro illegal amnesty parade. His most Conservative statement is that the new law will require the border be protected, just like last time. I believe he controls the Cochran vote. It is time to end his control of Mississippi. I will not vote Childers, I have never nor will I vote for a democrat, I don’t know how a Childers vote would be cast on amnesty, it would probably depend on whether or not they needed it to pass, I have no doubts about how a Barbour controlled Cochran vote would be cast. If Senator McDaniel concedes and Conservatives rally behind Cochran instead of writing in or no voting, the barbours escape the mess they created and Mississippi loses.

Pat “Leaky” Leahy will remain as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, whereas a Republican Senate will put Jeff Sessions in that position.

The Senate must be taken at all costs.

McDaniel should fight the scumbag Cochran until all options are exhausted.

If he is not successful, he should then endorse the degenerate fossil in a sarcastic fashion, stating that control of the Senate is basically a battle of good versus evil.

GOP politicians calling the democrats "evil" at every opportunity wouldn't hurt either.

This is a fight for Judeo-Christian morality versus the communist homosexual satanic horde.

An accounting is due, registers must be reconciled.

We need the Senate? We need the Senate?

What good is having the Senate with scoundrels such as these?

Good luck with pressuring people who have no higher priority than K Street.*

REMEMBER MISSISSIPPI!

*I hold no grievances towards lobbyists, in general. The Barbours are an exception. I hold contempt towards elected lawmakers who sell their votes for campaign cash.

I don’t know that it’s over for McDaniel just yet. IIRC, he has Federal court, and I think his chances are better there.

One more thing. Childers would be a one termer.
