Ferguson, Missouri (KMOV.com) – What started as a peaceful prayer vigil Saturday evening to remember a young man gunned down by police, has escalated into full scale riots and looting in Ferguson, Missouri.
Angry mobs have smashed windows, set fires and looted businesses as a massive showing of police, some wearing riot gear have moved into the area along West Florissant just south of 270.
Police are also responding to reports of shootings throughout the area. At one point, windows of a News 4 live truck were smashed out by the angry crowd.

If I was a franchiser I’d try to collect insurance and not rebuild. Same for the company owned outlets. Why offer sub-humans a replenished target?
just watched a looter run out of the Hibbett store broken window with a cop aiming a gun at him. I hope the looter cut his hand good as it got caught on the glass as he dodged through the broken window. Cop did not chase him but he got the other looter that was still in the store.

This rioting is east of the airport, and south of 270. I know the area from when I used to work at STL.
Also would not send my kids to school Monday either.

That WOULD NOT surprise me. The YUTES do use TXTing to coordinate “flash mobs” to overwhelm convenience stores. It’s a small step from that to using social media to “concentrate” armed mobs. They might have done that with the Molotov cocktails earlier tonight.
A resident is going to fight back with lethal force and heavy arms (AR 15’s)...
Who knew that cars could arm themselves!
