The victim looks to be 5’ 5 or so and abou 120 lbs. I bet he thought it was light out as compared to a 6’4” 292 lb black man. Dorian Johnson was at both scenes; the store robbery (not “theft” as the black commenter made; big difference) and where the shooting occurred. However, it should be noted that the apparent earlier strong-arm robbery and assault at the convenience store have nothing at all to do with whether this was a justified shoot or not.

I’ll be very curious to see whether the eternally indignant will claim the “real shooter” must have been white, because shut up. My understanding from previous reports is that there were only a couple of black cops on the force of this department.
