'I thought my e-cigarette was a miracle. Turns out, I was smoking the equivalent of 40-a-day'

I am a non-smoker who has given four friends an Ego-T tank system electronic cigaret as a gift. The friends varied from moderate social cigaret smokers to a heavy three pack a day smoker. Only one still vapes and smokes occasionally. She uses non-nicotine e-juice but will bum a real cigaret off a friend occasionally to smoke with them socially. . . but always says it tastes horrible. The rest, including the three-packer have quit completely! It took just three months to four months for them to stop.

That is what terrifies the tobacco companies.

even if absorbed through the skin

That's true, but very few people buy pure nicotine. I get my juice in varying doses. A 39ml bottle will have anywhere from 0 to 16mg in it.  It takes quite a while to go through an entire bottle, even if you're vaping pretty much constantly.

Anti smokers are going to bash vaping to keep the crusade alive

Like MADD or SPLC and so forth

My wife smoked a pack a day of Marlboro Lights until 9 months ago

Then she trued Blues etc.....worked a little... better than nothing

So I bought her a fancy vape nail

She started on 24mg saffire tobacco flavor

Now she’s on 8mg....not sure how low she’ll get

Is it completely risk free...I doubt anyone knows

But her coughing and congestion is gone

No heat or sugars or additives etc going into her lungs and cardiovascular

Nicotine itself is not particularly harmful unless overdosed or inhaled as smoke

But the anti cigarette mob has vested itself so much they are not likely to let smokers off so easily

“My understanding is that it isn’t the nicotine that is the carcinogen”, No nicotine is not a “carcinogen”, it’s a POISON!

What, are you a pharmacist? Hell yes it's a poison, so is alcohol. The dose is what's important in case of both substances.

If you vape too much too soon you get "nic sick" and have a bellyache; then you cut back your usage.

I've been vaping steadily for several years now and it's been a positive change from cigarettes.
