Texas Police Pepare to Defend International Bridges from Militia Groups
Breitbart Texas ^ | 09/14/2014 | Bob Price

MISSION, Texas -- Authorities prepare to use “whatever force is necessary” to defend international bridges between Texas and Mexico from U.S. based militia groups. The preparations by Texas law enforcement agencies are in response to recently discovered plans by militia groups to attempt closing several international bridges. The militia groups' plans are intended to be protests against the federal government's failure to secure the border between the U.S. and Mexico. The plans call for militia groups to begin blocking traffic on an undisclosed number of international bridges in the Rio Grande Valley on Sept. 20th, 2014.

“We will not allow these groups to disrupt the economic commerce of our region and we are prepared to use force to keep the bridges open,” said one law enforcement officer who spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity. The officer explained that the bridges are not symbols of illegal immigration, but rather, they are vital parts of the local economy. “We cannot allow them to be shut down by lawless behavior from people who claim to be promoting the rule of law.”

I’m from the rural Southwest Texas border area, and the rural areas are where the mojados come over-not the bridges-there is almost no border patrol presence around ranches, etc-the county sheriff is the only game in town...

This is the same line used against citizens protecting themselves.

Me, I’m thinking that any Ya-hoo what proclaims himself as “Militia” may not be anything but.. a Ya-hoo.

What Militia? From where? Under what chain of command? To whom do you report?

Perry needs to tell them to frigging stand down, or was his supposed opposition to immigration just a political stunt?

And people wonder how “ordinary germans” went along with the Nazi nightmare. The jackboot thug mentality exists in all men, just takes the right paycheck and bennies to bring it out.

“whatever force is necessary”

...by any means necessary...

Radical Malcolm X and Black Panther mentality against US citizens. Nice.

Unfortunately, the militia down there right now is not defending the international bridges from illegals. They’re going to attempt to block all traffic, including legal traffic. It’s a Port of Entry. They’ll be affecting more than illegals. They’ll be blocking trade and commerce also.

If I put on my tinfoil hat, it seems like a false flag op to draw attention to and isolate the militia to send a message. Blocking an international POE doesn’t seem like something law-abiding militiamen would do. My local group wouldn’t do it.

Hey “authorities”, failure to defend the borders is treason.
Illegals crossing the border is an invasive violation of the border.
Figure it out, idiots!

They don’t have the means to close the border, but they have the means to keep it open?

They are not our LEADERS, they are our MASTERS. The time for rebellion is nigh.

Just an copinion but I think they need liaisons from each militia group to be appointed that can meet with the police units so that their intentions are known, what their specific actions or lawful citizen function will be and iground rules can be set. From a distance at first lest they get arrested. Probably need an escort to keep an arrest from occuring. Probably get the best results using Intelligent level headed persons with former LEO or military background

Exactly. WTF are these militiamen? None of my crew would pull stunts like this. That is what this is I think - a stunt. As someone else pointed out, the illegals are wading the Red River, mostly in rural areas. They are not crossing international bridges holding flashing, neon, “Illegal Alien” signs. What is the mission objective?

Calling up the unorganized militia has at least these benefits:

a larger force at a lower cost to the state

coordinated action - more effective & greater safety (friendly fire)

indemnification

Unlike Francis’ solution, however, there’s no way we’re going to devolve the US back to a citizen-based government. That would require a large-scale revolution in which Jeffersonian-minded conservatives broke away and seized vast tracts of lands to start their own new states. Under the current US governmental order, there’s no way to stop what we all know is coming.
