Speaking to DallasNews.com, Merritt Tierce, a former waitress at a high-end steakhouse in Dallas, Texas, recalled using Rush Limbaugh's very generous tips to fund abortions.
Merritt said twice Limbaugh dined at the restaurant and left her a $2,000 tip each time on "modest-sized" checks. She describes one of the tips paid in twenty $100 bills.
"That was blood money to me," Tierce said, and so she donated "a sizable chunk of it" to the Texas Equal Access abortion fund, of which she was executive director. She explained:
It felt like laundering the money in a good way. Hes such an obvious target for any feminist or sane person. It was really bizarre to me that he gave me $2,000, and hes evil incarnate in some ways.
Tierce has released her first novel, entitled Love Me Back, which is all about her experiences at the Dallas steakhouse. The Limbaugh story is not included.
Continuing her abortion activism, Tierce recently penned an Op-Ed for The New York Times in which she describes having two abortions. The goal is clear in her piece: to combat the great "lie that abortion isnt normal." She writes:
I had an abortion because we were poor and I was depressed and I didnt know who the father was. I had been having an affair. My kids were 2 and 3, and the debilitating morning sickness, which I experienced early in each of my pregnancies, made it difficult to work or care for two toddlers. I got pregnant again soon after, but miscarried. A few years later I had another abortion because the man I was seeing was emotionally abusive. I had no control in that relationship, so I sabotaged my birth control to get some back. The whole situation was a complete abscess. In spite of my awareness of our miserable present and inevitably doomed future, I didnt really want to have an abortion. I wanted the man to love me or at least be forced to publicly acknowledge our relationship existed. But he didnt want to have a baby with me, and I knew that having that baby would have been a terrible thing for my children. And for me.
This is how it really is, abortion: You do things you regret or dont understand and then you make other choices because life keeps going forward. Or you do something out of love and then, through biology or accident, it goes inexplicably wrong, and you do what you can to cope. Or you do whatever you do, however you do it, for whatever reason, because thats your experience.
Those rumbling noises under the ground that people are hearing..? Hell is undergoing expansion to accommodate new ‘guests’...permanent ones.
Seeing how much lefties lie, I’d doubt that she bummed anything off of Limbaugh, or if otherwise she did it more than once or twice.
[ I had an abortion because we were poor and I was depressed and I didnt know who the father was.
Is she Sandra Flukes campaign manager? ]
“Or you do something out of love and then, through biology or accident, it goes inexplicably wrong, and you do what you can to cope.”
I dunno, but I am not too sure her book wasn’t ghost written by Jeb Bush... You know, “act of love” and all..
People don’t believe in demons? Take another good look.
Rubbers are real cheap...much cheaper than abortions.
I was depressed...
So you went out and had casual, unprotected sex?
...and I didnt know who the father was.
Only one conclusion to reach:
You, my dear, are a cheap slut and murdering whore.
Have a nice day, pig.
Based on her mean looks alone I doubt that anybody would ever tip her more than 20%.

You may be an idiot but your publisher aren’t that stupid to include something in your book that will leave them open to libel lawsuit....
.... Because it didn’t happen....
[ Seems Rush certainly is not a bigot or misogynist, tipping her generously for her job performance, rather than withholding a gratuity based on her politics or sex. ]
ARE YOU KIDDING?
The left will attack Rush the same way they rabidly attack a Guy for holding a door open for Gal....
Gee, she looks like such a warm, caring person.
Why would anyone, even someone as wealthy as Mr. Limbaugh, give a tip of $2,000 on a meal? And since when do “high-end” steakhouses have “modest-sized” checks? I’ve been to maybe a dozen upscale restaurants in my long life and I don’t recall any of the checks being what you’d call “modest” in any way.
She funds the murder of babies, and according to her, Rush is the evil one?
She has the eyes of a woman uniquely qualified to work the check-in counter at a concentration camp.
A lefty (especially an abortion pimp) lie? I am shocked! Shocked, I say!
Not buying it. Waiters in high end steakhouses are very well compensated. You don’t get to that level without being very good and are tipped accordingly.
I’ve been fortunate to have eaten at a few high end steakhouses and the service was as memorable as the food.
And they call us Christians “Hateful”
I doubt that Rush will get involved in this type of petty liberal hog wash...but I do remember him once stating to the effect that he never carries much cash on his person.
I don't recall context or the gist of it, but I have a distinct memory of it, so him tipping with 20 crisp 100 dollar bills doesn't wash.
There have been at least one or two stories over the years of Mr. Limbaugh giving very large tips at restaurants.
It was a long time ago, but my recollection is that one was more like $12,000. I think he was with a group.
This is a boomerang effort that doesn’t help her or abortion, but it does let people know that Rush Limbaugh is a huge tipper and it is great publicity for his image.
Let her get all the publicity she wants, she looks sordid and weird, and off, while the world will never forget the size of Rush’s tips and his generosity, something the media has tried to keep a lid on for decades.
what a twisted b****.
This is all BS. There isn’t enough beer in Texas to make that witch attractive enough get pregnant. If she got pregnant then there was a turkey baster involved in the process.
