I mostly agree with you. But, he probably thinks he can get more done if he’s not completely hated. It will also be a lot easier for him if he doesn’t lose the Senate. If he does... he’s going to have to go completely Executive, because there will be even less possibility of compromise with a GOP that controls both House and Senate. So, I think he’s trying to go through the motions for now.

Internet news sites and political forums for the last several weeks have been portraying the President as an aloof golfer out of ideas and just mailing it in anymore while the world burns. Even the sympathetic defenders of Obama couldn't pretend not to notice anymore.
Backroom chatter between Dems running for re-election, the DNC, and the White House must have been near hysterical the last few weeks: Get him back out there on the field, saying anything. Do anything. Something! "Do you want him to do a campaign stop with you?" "No! Who said that?! Just get him off the golf course and let us see first what you plan on having him say..."

Could you refresh my memory, as to WHEN the “first” instance of achievement took place? Because, I cannot recall one.
The Usurper is the one who should apologize...and then the voters. But, if you expect a liberal, OR an irresponsible voter to apologize for ANYTHING, you may be waiting longer than the world has been prescribed to exist.
That’s what is so disgusting. The man has made it abundantly clear that he’s playing for the opposing team - doing whatever he can to make sure there are lots of dead Americans - and yet 1/3 of the nation cheers him on.
I listened to an interview of a guy who was interpreting one of the Old Testament warnings to Israel and applying it to any nation who rejects Him - in particular America of today. It was saying that if the nation wouldn’t repent, God would heap certain calamities upon them - one of which was that He would make sure that they were ruled by people who hate them. And then He would give them a chance to repent. For each time He heaped calamities upon them and gave them a chance to repent which they refused to do, He would multiply the hardship by 7 times - going through famine, war, disease, terrorism, wild animals (such as ISIS) and demonic torture until eventually they would eat their own children.
How much will the people of America have to endure before they stop returning to their own vomit? How long before the nation rejects the evil of the thief who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy?
I had to admit to myself that I am angry that the fate of my children is tied so closely to people I will never be able to force to repent. I need an attitude adjustment so that I am willing to die for those who hate me and mock the Lord, like my Savior did for me while I was mocking Him. But it is really difficult.
