>>Put up another Mitt Romney, etc., and many of us will cast our votes elsewhere.
<<

Yeah, that worked in 2008 and again in 2012.

Thank you for the result.

Yes indeed! I toss these people in with liberals because that in fact is all they are doing. Helping liberals by staying home. I’ve never even heard brain dead leftists say, “We’ll show them! We won’t vote!” No, they show up in droves because even the brain dead leftist knows more votes = more control.
Congratulations, the world is going down the drain but hey, at least you have your principals to keep you warm and cozy at night.

The GOP-e can’t even articulate WHY we should vote for them.

Name 5 legislative goals they’ve said they’ll implement if given the majority.

With the Conservative candidates, I know exactly why I should vote for them and what they plan to do if elected, because they actually campaign on that.

Trading Harry Reid for Mitch McConnel doesn’t seem like much of a change, to me.

The toilet bowl is swirling to its inevitable end. Do you vote for the “R” and slow down the swirl rate a bit or do you vote your conscience and complete the flush?

Drag Cochran, McConnel and Barbour into the street. Cover them in tar and feathers. Pour scalding hot tea down their throats. Eject them from the party.

Then I’ll vote for your RINOs.

Or you can just point your little finger at me and scream “WASCIST!!!” It was that behavior in Mississippi that brought this issue to a head.

The GOPe made it clear in MS they wanted Democrat votes and not conservatives. Same in IN. Same in AR. Same everywhere. They declared us their enemies. So be it.

Have only read the headline, but RE "staunch, rock-ribbed conservative" threads ... like this one? {^)

As far as I'm concerned, smart money is anticipating RIGHT NOW the inevitable Romney-esque "Republican" functional leftist presidential nominee in 2016, and getting psyched up for the only alternative we'll have -- INDEPENDENT 'THIRD' PARTY run from a limited government conservative whose platform will include, among other things:

1. Junk Obamacare and the concept behind it and let free Americans make and pay for their own health care arrangements AND charity.

2. Stand firm on protecting the 2nd Amendment.

Those two issues ALONE are ones that unite both conventional American Democrats and Republicans, and rank and file members of BOTH parties are disgusted with how far left their respective party has moved.

As long as the Republican party dignifies Democrat-party-rooted statists such as Romney with the name "Republican," then it is the wrong party for me and the wrong party for America.

The STUPID party -- for people who will vote for leftists while telling themselves they're voting against leftism. STOOOOOOOOEEEWWWWWW-PID. Voting STUPID.

This is war. RINOs won’t hesitate to join Dems at putting conservatives in gulags or graves. One should ask oneself, “Whose side am I on?”

Put up candidates worth voting for. It is that simple.

I did not want Obummer EVER to be elected, so I voted the R ticket. Others did not and we got the shaft.

In the past I voted for McCain, and Romney nationally, and for Scott Brown in Massachusetts.

The TEA Party put Brown in office and the TEA Party took him back out.

The GOPe should have learned something from this but they are too busy performing fellatio on their “friends across the aisle.”

Perhaps if they would suck a bit more quietly they'd hear what their conservative base is saying.

And once again a bleating sheep RINO whore (Jim Geraghty this time) feels the need to berate conservatives due to his precious RINOs possibly losing.
Go find your votes among the dems Geraghty.

Because as we all know, you become more influential in politics and government and public life by staying home and doing less.

What we do know is that you will become more influential by replacing those who will NEVER support you with those who will.

Arizona (McCain 78 years old): 73% white, 4% black, 5% native American, 3% Asian, Hispanic 30% (combined with others). Romney 54%, Obama 44%.

Mississippi (Cochran 76 years old): 59% white, 37% black, 1% Asian. Romney 55%, Obama 44%.

Kentucky (McConnell 72 years old): 86% white, 8% black, 3% Hispanic, 1% Asian. Romney 60%, Obama 38%.

Utah (Hatch 80 years old): 86% white, 2% Asian, 1% black. Romney 73%, Obama 25%.

Tennessee (Alexander 74 years old): 78% white, 17% black, 1% Asian. Romney 59%, Obama 39%.

Wyoming (Enzi 70 years old): 93% white, 3% native American, 1% black, 1% Asian. Romney 69%, Obama 28%.

Oklahoma (Inhofe 79 years old): 72% white, 9% native American, 7% black, 2% Asian, Romney 67%, Obama 33%.

Given demographics like these, do people really think we can't retake a seat in the next cycle if we oust a GOPe from a solid Red state?

again, it’s all about numbers.

No, it's all about the principles. It always has been. It can be no other way.

What “others”? There no statistical evidence for stay-home conservatives (who have voted in the past) in measurable numbers. Just anecdotes.

I vote Republican but I don’t vote for statists running as Republicans, regardless of how they got the nomination.

The GOPe has overtly attacked and undermined their own Conservative base.

McConnel vowed to destroy the TEA Party.

Are you really surprised at the result?

Gee Mr Dumb, why don’t you put on this police officer uniform and take a midnight walk through Ferguson, Missouri?

Not really.

If the GOPe nominates Lucifer himself, we will told to vote for him.

Hell no.

The only people who can be blamed for 2012 is Romney and the GOPe, it is not the fault of voters who did not like Romney or who vomited at the thought of casting their vote for the leftist liar.
