>>You know of something that kills Ebola without killing the carrier?<<

A 4% solution of clorox is what hospitals use even as a hand sanitizer.

It means we failed. A US hospital failed to save someone. That is scary.

There is no cure for Ebola. 70-90% of those infected will die... even in the US with first world medicine.

Hey but keep those airliners full of vomiting Africans coming!

No cure. The vast majority infected will die

oh and those who survive will still likely be carriers able to spread the disease, even through sex.

Most of the state does reliably have some winter weather, though. Just a subtropical band along the coast and thirty-forty miles inland that narrows as you go north, ending at about Cape Hatteras. If climate has anything to do with it, alligators and palm trees would mark the zone.

Dear Lord...we are grateful that nobody - including our guest - in this room has ever paid a nickel in taxes but that the federal government still lavishes us with all modern conveniences despite our illegal presence in a foreign land. We give thanks that our biggest problem is obesity due to sloth and overeating as opposed to our starving brothers and sisters back home.

We also praise you for allowing the US education system to be so dumbed down and politically slanted that allowing national media coverage of our brazen illegal occupation, theft from the public treasury, and harboring of a carrier of a fatal communicable disease will have absolutely no consequences - apart, of course, from having to interact with a charlatan alley cat posing as a clergyman.

If the white journalist survives, that’ll give Jesse more ammo.

I just heard a stat this morning that 1 infected infects, on average, 1.4 people.

A kid is going to show up at a school with this and the wheels are going to come off.

My girlfriend was out walking with some friends the other day. The subject of Ebola came up. One of them said, "If it gets much worse, I am pulling my kids out of school".

If the Starbucks-mini van crowd is aware and talking about it--it's on people's radar. They never talk about "real" stuff.

“Jesse will be grandstanding and stirring up trouble.”

Yep...
The meme is already being built.

MSNBC, just now:
“I was with the family this morning, just before he died. They feel they are being discriminated against.”

Louise claims they weren’t, in so many words, intimate in any way, shape or form. That he slept in an other room and just listed a bridge for sale.

Well, I still say this is different from being in Africa. But the mortality may still be too high.

It is comforting to think of the Americans that were transported safely here to recover.

so if he was asymptomatic then likelihood of infecting others was low to nonexistent

Except he was vomiting, had a temp, sweating, red eyes, and diarrhea while at the apartment, outside the apartment, in the car, at the hospital ER the first time and in the ambulance.

In every one of those pictures of dead bodies or sick people, there is a crowd of looky loos in bare feet.

“Except he was vomiting, had a temp, sweating, red eyes, and diarrhea while at the apartment, outside the apartment, in the car, at the hospital ER the first time and in the ambulance. “

But,aside from that, he was asymptomatic, right?

So there is nothing to worry about, right?

Yes, he was. That’s why I and so many others have been concerned over nonexistent observance of known protocol with Mr. Duncan and that apartment.
