Obama putting key priorities on hold until after midterm election

President Obama is taking time out from his much-trumpeted "year of action" to observe a period more important to his Democratic allies in Congress: the season of campaigning..

One by one, the Obama administration is setting aside key priorities, in the hope that voters won't do the same to his fellow Democrats.

Immigration reform, once deemed a pressing back-to-school item, will wait at least until the winter holidays.

Enrollment in Obamacare will start six weeks later than last year. The climate will warm at the same rate, with new regulations pending.

The latest addition to the not-to-do list came this week, when the White House put off an announcement on the president's nominee for attorney general, a pick he has been privately thinking about a long time.

White House aides smile and defend the strategy, saying privately that they're trying to be sensitive to the concerns of Democrats, especially senators in tough election races.

There are some on here willing to sacrifice the senate to Obama because they didn't get what they wanted (I didn't get 100% what I wanted either).

How smart is cutting your nose off to spite your face?

I cannot reason with people that think it's okay to let Obama have control of the senate for this last two years. Yeah, I don't like the GOPe either but I am not willing to throw the nation and our children under a bus to make my point.

So he’s going to really ruin this country after the elections?

Yep we don’t want to have senate candidates on the spot of what they think of an attorney general nominee or what they think of amnesty for illegals.

Sarcasm

He’s been pushing for it his entire adult life. I don’t doubt it.

We’ve had people on here saying they weren’t going to support Pat Roberts because he was GOPe. Those types are absolutely clueless.

The first step to solving a problem is to accurately assess the problem.

You know, as well as do the rest of us readers, that you will never be able to solve the problem.

You must first be honest about the situation, and your statement indicates you aren't willing to do that.

Obama has been on hold since 2010

So he’s simply doing what he can - which is use his bully pulpit to agitate, to use the biased government apparatus to seek political advantage, and to allow debt and government spending to grow.

One by one, the Obama administration is setting aside key priorities, in the hope of saving seats of nervous Democrats: (1) Immigration reform E/O; (2) Enrollment in Obamacare now six weeks later; (3) delaying announcement of the president's radical liberal nominee for attorney general.....

VOTER FRAUD ALERT: These are smoke screens----b/c massive Dummycrat voter fraud is going on----Obama can then say, "See, my actions helped win the day for Dems."

===============================================

BE ON THE ALERT Secretaries of state in every state accept reports of voter fraud.

==============================================

ATTENTION IOWA---Course, it's hard to think like Team-O's criminal Chicago politicians---but I'm petty certain a lot of money to facilitate Dummycrat voter fraud will be used extensively in Iowa--- b/c if Dummy Braley loses, the long knives will be out for Michelle for screwing up her campaign appearance there....calling Braley "Bailey."

After all, now that she finally "likes" her country and has a bit of self-esteem after "years of oppression" in elite schools.....the Obama criminal vote fraud machine can't let her royal ambitions be tarnished...even if reading a campaign poster is beyond her meager intellect.

BS. If I agree with a candidate 95% of the time, that is better than a candidate I disagree with 95% of the time. That’s pretty easy for me.

No. The GOPe at least stood up against obamacare. The amnesty most would tolerate would be very watered down. They wouldn’t have fought for gay marriage. Most support the military and wouldn’t have pushed for transsexuals in the military. Most aren’t for expanding welfare. Most would aren’t willing to pay for every global warming project around the nation. The list is long.

It’s the lesser of two evils. Also, I BELIEVE CONSERVATIVES HAVE A BETTER CHANCE STANDING UP TO OBAMA IF THE REPUBLICANS HAVE CONTROL OF THE SENATE THE NEXT TWO YEARS. The courts should be an easy example.

The amnesty bs is on hold until after the elections.

There will be several executive actions. The senate won’t be able to stop all of them but they could some and slow others.

Exactly!!!!

And they’re not smart enough to know that they party that controls the senate controls the agenda in the senate.
