Lisa Fithian was a key organizer of the violent demonstrations that caused the shutdown of the 1999 WTO meetings in Seattle, Washington. She is an anti-capitalist revolutionary.

Anarchist leader Lisa Fithian held several training sessions this month for Ferguson activists. At least 600 “activists” have already been trained.

On Saturday one of her trainers told the attendees that they were going to target white areas.

“Personally, I think we DONT need to be on West Florissant. I wanna advocate that we go on South Florissant because the people on South Florissant don’t look like me. The people on West Florissant look like me and they’re with it. So… I really don’t have anything to protest on West Florissant. So if I’m in the area I’m going to Ferguson Police Department.”

Just tie some green twine low to the ground to trip them and then see how brave they feel. It works for peeping toms, burglars, whatever. They will not be able to see it in the dark or the light nor will they get away fast.

Though I have not read any posts about local self defense groups, they may have had time to form up, probably on a street basis. They would be well advised to spend a little time working out communications, strategy, tactics, and Public Relations. While there may be LEOs of various types, the LEO mission may be to protect the protesters. The main worry may not be the protesters, but the LEOs guarding them.
The LEO commanders, given a choice of losing their job and pension, may let the white areas hang in the wind, sort of living sacrifices to Mr. Obama.

Law enforcement should choose well if they go into Ferguson and they choose the wrong side. Siding with the looters and rioters isn’t going to have a good outcome for anyone.
