Theres not a lot of evidence for these types of claims. In 2011, The Journal of Bone and Mineral Research published a meta-analysis examining whether milk consumption might protect against hip fracture in middle-aged and older adults. Six studies containing almost 200,000 women could find no association between drinking milk and lower rates of fractures.
More recent research confirms these findings. A study published in JAMA Pediatrics this year followed almost 100,000 men and women for more than two decades. Subjects were asked to report on how much milk they had consumed as teenagers, and then they were followed to see if that was associated with a reduced chance of hip fractures later in life. It wasnt.
A just-released study in The BMJ that followed more than 45,000 men and 61,000 women in Sweden age 39 and older had similar results. Milk consumption as adults was associated with no protection for men, and an increased risk of fractures in women. It was also associated with an increased risk of death in both sexes.

I started out “watching” carbs and since adopted and ultra low carb way of eating. I am glad that at least one of us can enjoy the cake though.

I buy skim milk powder in a bulk bag, makes 25 qrts, I like the powder because you never run out , plus once you are used to it you really dont crave anything else, at least that`s how it is for me, I have it in my tea and coffee and drink a lot of coffee.
But on the carbohydrates have a unopened bag on my l;ap and this is what it says per 1 cup serving
0 fat
0 saturates
5mg cholesterol
115 mg sodium
carbohydrates 13 grams

As I mentioned just above, I adopted an ultra low carb way of eating. There are a lot of “hidden” carbs out there. I previously wasn’t aware that the less fat content int he mil, the higher the carbs.

I know he didn’t do the studies, but he “sells” them via columns he writes for big MSM sources. He also likely spins them for whatever purposes.
But of course. Our elders, who have ingested all of these “bad for you” items are now living longer than ever, on average, so the powers that be MUST insist that such items are inherently bad for you, since their primary goal is to make our citizens die at a younger age, IMO.
I’ll stick with the foodstuff that made our citizens the strongest overall and the healthiest overall, from my viewpoint, and to hell with all the absurd “studies”!
Osteoporisis is caused in part by the carbonation in soda pop. I believe that is a big cause of osteo in Americans.

Now if you said the most obese overall and the biggest consumers of medical services overall, I'd agree.
I stopped drinking milk 59 years ago when I was 5. I eat other dairy products but haven’t drank milk since. Made it through the Marines and a career in the AF being fit all my life. My point of view is that milk is for baby cows.
I bought a half gallon of that stuff, drank a glass and almost puked, poured the rest down the drain.
Matter of taste preference I suppose. It's not for me.
But I’ve never heard of calves drinking chocolate milk!
Our little town got a new well. I tried filling my pool with it, within two days the water turned black. Water works officials said it was loaded with magnesium.
At one time skim milk was thought to be unfit for human consumption and was fed to hogs. I call anything less than whole milk, "white colored water".
To each his/her own however.
I treat myself to Half & Half only occasionally any more, now that it's around $6.00 per half gallon.

So, I did the research on why statins are bad for you, search term was ‘dangers of statins’.
I learned that skim milk may not be as good for a person as we’ve been told because of what they add to the milk. It’s a bigger cholesterol risk than whole milk.
Also, cholesterol assists in regulating blood sugar, (no wonder mine went up as my blood sugar came under control!) AND that cholesterol actually has protective properties for your adrenal glands, as well as inhibiting inflammation responses.
Even some powdered milks are detrimental because of the whey they use.
It was a fascinating piece to read and if you do an internet search on the terms I suggested, well, it’s an eye opener.
So now I have a nice gallon of fresh whole milk in my fridge, butter went on sale so I bought a few blocks of that along with a couple of pieces of beef to go with my chicken and fish. There’s no food like REAL food, and if the animal is a vegetable eater, (split hoof/chews cud) then it’s not harmful. Sciences is wrong. Could be that what it was FED might not be good for the cow, and therefore you, but in it’s natural form, it’s food intended to nourish your body unless you have something like lactose intolerance which doesn’t allow you to partake of some dairy foods. IMHO.
I love dairy..cream, ice cream, cheese, sourcream, milk...And my body just doesn’t seem to feel right without it.
Exercise, fresh air, widely varied diet of what God considers to be healthy food all contribute toward good bone health and density. Sitting on the butt doesn’t. Some absolutely cannot do much, but there are also those who could, but don’t.
Whoever mentioned magnesium, I agree. It’s another essential mineral that somehow isn’t in enough supply.
Everything needs to work together to work right.

My mother drinks a lot of whole milk. Today is her 94th B/Day (Nov.17,1920.)
Whole milk, not pasteurized or homogenized, straight from a healthy and clean Cows teat to a sterile jar. There is something that happens when the milk is put through a heating and separation process.
My mother and I have both been on statins since 1991 when Pravachol came out — no problems to report. She is 97. First cardiologist has long since passed away. We both do take CoQ10 to head off the myopathies.
