A grand jury has reached a decision on whether to indict Darren Wilson, the white Ferguson, Mo. police officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager sparked days of turbulent protests, sources close to the process said.
Sources said that press conferences are being prepared by the county prosecutors’ office and the Missouri governor. Those press conferences will likely come later today.

CLAYTON • If the grand jury has decided not to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert P. McCulloch’s office is planning to release grand jury documents without seeking a judge’s approval, a lawyer for McCulloch said Monday.
McCulloch is expected to announce the grand jury’s decision on the indictment at 8 p.m. tonight.

The lynch mob / “protesters” don’t care about the facts, they just want a good old fashioned lynching of Officer Darren Wilson, facts be damned. And they are too dim to see the irony of this.
MS finally has something right. KMOX news just reported there has been an embargo on announcing that the GJ decision would be announced at 8PM and that embargo has now been lifted. So, it’s 5:30 for the yak-yak from the Gov and 8PM for the actually announcement.
If that’s true, they’ve moved it back an hour. But who can blame them for waiting until it gets colder. Every hour they wait, the temps drop further. Not exactly riot weather, and getting less so by the hour.
I don’t understand. Are they timing the announcement for prime thuggery hour?
That’s true. Also, I wondered about Obama finally breaking down and urging ‘calm’. Calm is the last thing the community organizer wants. I wonder if he had word that it was going to get out of control? If so, he wanted a pro forma ‘law and order’ comment on record, so he could cya.
