Attorney General Eric Holder released this statement after news came down that Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the murder of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri:
“While the grand jury proceeding in St. Louis County has concluded, the Justice Department’s investigation into the shooting of Michael Brown remains ongoing. Though we have shared information with local prosecutors during the course of our investigation, the federal inquiry has been independent of the local one from the start, and remains so now. Even at this mature stage of the investigation, we have avoided prejudging any of the evidence. And although federal civil rights law imposes a high legal bar in these types of cases, we have resisted forming premature conclusions.
“Michael Brown’s death was a tragedy. This incident has sparked a national conversation about the need to ensure confidence between law enforcement and the communities they protect and serve. While constructive efforts are underway in Ferguson and communities nationwide, far more must be done to create enduring trust. The Department will continue to work with law enforcement, civil rights, faith and community leaders across the country to foster effective relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve and to improve fairness in the criminal justice system overall. In addition, the Department continues to investigate allegations of unconstitutional policing patterns or practices by the Ferguson Police Department.

Can somebody explain what Federal laws the policeman is suspected of violating??? Why is there a Federal investigation into a local police shooting in middle America in the first place??? Are there routinely Federal reviews of shootings by local police across America???

Do you Freepers remember seeing the video of the large black man beating up that female cop during a traffic stop. Same type of mentality. Same type of behavior. Same type of individual. That guy in the traffic stop just had more years of experience.
I get so tired of this crap that we still have a long way to go with race relations.

Blacks as CEOs, sports heros, movie stars, television stars, music stars.
Blacks making music and movies where millions of people - white and black - pay good money to listen or see them. Therer is not another country in the world that can say this. Ad Rush Limbaugh said many years ago about the Olympics. You look at our atheletes and you see the spectrum of different races.
Yet they have the gall to speak about how their education sucks. Not one urban black neighborhood in this country is controlled by Republicans. All Democrat districts where they live in squalor for decades and then blame the whites for keeping them down. It makes me want to hollar - to quote a black singer.
Had the same thought myself while watching President Hissy Fit. You know that Holder was trying to stage manage this investigation as much as possible. And you know President Hissy Fit wanted to rant and rave last night about cracker racism, but couldn't because Holder's finger prints were all over this and because the St. Louis Co. prosecutor was a Dem. So he just pouted and sulked and said to his "sons" that they were justified in getting whitey, but shouldn't. And this morning we learn that supposedly Pres. Hissy didn't even watch the prosecutor's press conference. He probably started to, but then had a hissy and stomped out of the room when no charges were announced.
Translation: Law? What law? I don’t need to follow no stinking’ laws. My career is built on stirring up racial divisiveness. I will search far and wide for the very rare case where a white person (or “white hispanic”) shoots a black person and then I will stir up violence in the black community by convincing them it was due to bigotry because, of course, it could not possibly be self-defense because all blacks, regardless of their criminal activity, drug use, age, size, or history of violence are innocent, gentle choir boys who are victims of white oppression.

Only if they think they can still stir something up there. They keep hoping for a case where the white person is actually guilty. But they’ll hang on to these cases because it’s the best the grievance industry has to work with.
Maybe pretending like they are still studying the case gives them the reason they need to stay there. Just like they’ll stay in ferguson and probably next, Cleveland. Until they’ve essentially set up their federal police force in cities all over America.
Every LEO in this country sees and hears the outcome if thug violence every day. Of course they are defensive, who wouldn’t be? How about the Australian college student, (forget the city) who was shot in the back and killed due to black yutes being bored? You hear this crap and you are ready for anything.
What this kind of thing is going to result in as absolutely ubiquitous video and audio surveillance. That’s the only defense you will have in an altercation that has any kind of racial component.
