One of three: IN’s Mitch Daniels, WI’s Scott Walker or TX’s Ted Cruz.
I could get behind any one of them. Let’s just say NO to another RINO.
My hopes are with Scott Walker....he has the thickest skin of all candidates added together, including dems.
Mitch Daniels cant win. No charisma. Ted Cruz has charisma, is Latino, and a Conservative.
Lord help us..please . Let him be elected. Scott Walker will do, too.
Bring back Freddie and the Dreamers to rewrite their song...”Do The Teddy”! Cruz/the Nuge 2016.
First, I would say that four years has weaned me off Chris Christie and Marco Rubio (maybe as a VP only). Bobby Jindal now comes off a bit more clever than he did in 2010...but as a public speaker....he’s lacking. The “Huck” might make a good cabinet official but he’s just not Presidential material.
Second....as much as Jeb Bush is smart and articulate (certainly more so than George w)...too many journalists will try to tie him to the Bush legacy and downgrade on every single twist and turn.
Third....Rand Paul is trying to be all things....neatly bundled up into one single package, and gain some confidence with Latinos and Blacks....maybe getting twenty percent of their vote). But he’s just an oddball guy at times with what he lays down as positions.
Fourth....Paul Ryan is still ten years away from maturing. He’s the 2024 guy, and walks away with no problems in beating the Democratic candidate.
Fifth...Scott Walker and Mitch Daniels have confidence and show some cleverness in their public forums. Both might be able to gain interest in the south easily.
Sixth...Ted Cruz is the hands-down debate master, and no one from the Democratic party can counter him. No scandals...no stupid comments, but there are half the idiots of the senior Republicans in DC, who hate him intensely. He’s stepped on toes and they’d do anything to block him from winning.
Seventh...Rick Perry version 2.0 has shocked me over the past year. He’s redone his personal appeal and actually gives some bright simple answers when in some forum. It’s like a totally different guy from six years ago. Course, this makes me wonder how he changed.
Eigth....Doctor Ben Carson. Frankly, he is the national leader that we’ve been waiting on for the past sixty odd years since Ike. He’s scandal-proof, bright, clever, and down to Earth. But I just can’t see more than twenty percent of Republicans voting for the guy.
Ninth....so I come to Mike Pence, Governor of Indiana. If there were an outsider, who’d appeal to the general public, across to independent voters....this is the guy. Clean, no scandals, and seems clever in forums with answers to questions. If I were betting on a guy who’d get in the top two of Iowa primary voters....he’d one of the top two. Same way for South Carolina.
