The GOPe loves any and all amnesty. Don’t think that the Chamber of Amnesty is mad about this either. They love it and this is their shot to get what they want. If anything, they’ll lobby for more H1B Visas and “compromise” with Obama.
The GOP. Of the lobbyists, By the lobbyists, for the lobbyists.

So, we are now taking the word of the NYT? Find a better source of information on GOP activities.

As Congress returns from recess on Monday facing a Dec. 11 deadline for funding the government, Mr. Boehner and his fellow Republican leaders are working to persuade the rank and file furious over President Obamas executive action on immigration that engaging in a spending confrontation is the wrong way to counter the White House. That would set the wrong tone, they argue, as Republicans prepare to take over Congress and fulfill promises to govern responsibly.
Go along to get along - he does not want to do the heavy lifting!
Boner caves before the negotiations even commence!!!!!! We told you Repubs that just electing more pubbies is NOT the answer to fixing our broken Constitutional Republic - ARTICLE V is the only thing that stands a chance!!

I do believe that all the new guys and gals voted to put bonehead right back into power. I don’t believe that there was any opposition to that at all. That kind of tells you the truth about who they really are.

I we voted for them after they told us who they are. We’ll show them next primary? No we won’t. Now we’re stuck with them.

And when they’re not, and when the opposite happens (more conservatives purged from committees) then what should we do?

And that is exactly why we need, not only term limitz, but a ban on seniority rules in congress. Every congress should start fresh, nothing built in with sliders from the previous clusterflock.

The Republican base is apparently happy to be deceived election after election. If GOP voters would simply call their reps and demand the removal of Bonehead, it would happen, and the party would be better off for it. But there’s little, if any, chance of that ever happening. Republicans are passive people.
If I was a Democrat I would be truly thankful for having such a weak and clueless party on the other side.

You’re right. In a very real sense, GOP voters just can’t handle the truth. They don’t want to know who they are voting for.

I have never liked this man, from the moment he cried like a drunken bum in front of Pelosi, to the day he backed Paul Ryan's screwing over military veteran's pensions while leaving illegal invaders benefits untouched.
When he took over as Speaker and behaved like this, I knew we were done for.
I also think he was drunk during his "acceptance speech."

Ho hum...
Another doomed attempt by Obama’s propaganda team to demoralize the folks who WON the 2014 election...
What’s that? You say that Obama’s opposition to Boehner and YOUR opposition to Boehner is NOT at all connected....
You say that liberal media actually DO tell “the truth” about Boehner?
Hahahahahahaha.....
Do you also think the Ferguson riots and the rent-a-mob “activists” who swarmed there are NOT at all connected?
Please FRiend, don’t let bad folks mislead you.
