I didn't know till today that the police officer was being supervised by a black woman police sergeant who never intervened. She is actually in the video. I saw it on Fox& Friends this morning.

Officer Wilson was innocent. Pantaleo should be fired.

Common sense is not in his police toolbox.

Something, very important, in the GJ testimony allowed the officer to not be charged. We’re not privy to it yet.

You know what; if I were a white cop, I’d refuse to go into any minority neighborhoods. It simply isn’t worth it. These guys are dammed if they do, and dammed if they don’t.

We all sit back and cast our judgments on these police when in reality we have NO clue what these folks face on a daily basis.

Good people (Whites) who may have considered this profession are learning that it simply isn’t worth it.

The real culprits responsible for this senseless death are the mayor and his police department for having a policy of arresting people for such a minor trangression.

Why isn’t anyone putting Mayor de Blasio. on the hot seat over his stupid policy of wasting valuable police time on arresting someone for selling a cigarette?

If his street police force wasn’t ordered to spend their time on such an insignificant misdemeanors Eric Garner would still be alive.

How many policemen were involved in taking down this one man for a crime less serious than Jay Walking?

Are all the other more serious crimes so well under control and the Mayor is having trouble keeping the street police busy?

Maybe, all the White Police Officers should be prohibited from working in Black communities. What happens then? What would Sharpton, Obama and Holder complain about if that happened?

If 15 minutes of video on this “arrest” and the subsequent actions of the authorities is not enough to bring about probable cause for trial then why is everyone crying for police to wear body cameras?

What did Eric Garner’s autopsy show?

It takes several minutes to completely choke somebody to death. The policeman let the victim go in less than a minute in the video. What did he really die from? Nobody has yet said he was choked to death.

Officer Pantaleo’s career is finished. He will never work as a police officer again. Assuming he's still with the department (I don't know) he can either resign now or wait to be fired. Because he will be fired if he doesn't resign first. And after seeing the video, no police department will ever hire him.

I have been outspoken in defense of Darren Wilson but I have far deeper concerns about the NY case. How can you continue to choke a person who gasps that they can’t breathe? Amazing.

The state of New York has the highest tax on cigarettes in the nation ($4.25 per pack).

Taxes in: Pennsylvania $1.60, New Jersey $2.70, Massachusetts $2.51, Vermont $2.24. New Hampshire $1.78, Connecticut $3.00, Delaware $1.60.

New York City has the highest city tax on cigarettes in the nation $1.50

This is the perfect recipe for the sale of black market cigarettes.

When the profits to be made in selling cigarettes bought in a nearby state at a much lower price can easily be $2.00 a pack it will be impossible for the authorities to enforce their confiscatory taxes on cigarettes.

It is also inevitable that there will be deaths like this one in their attempt to enforce the tax.

Take my word for it there will be more deaths until the tax on cigarettes in New York are more in line with the taxes of their neighbors.

The grand jury exists to ensure that cases are tried that must be tried AND that have some chance of winning.

Those officers appeared to be acting within their discretion in enforcing the law. I assume the grand jury thought that any prosecution would fail.

That said, I don’t think selling cigarettes on the street is justification for arresting anybody. It’s a crappy law that says a guy can’t roll his own and sell them loose.

We have real video of the attempt to subdue Eric Garner. And for a petty misdemeanor, of all things. They should have charged the policeman with at least manslaughter.

Eric Garner resisted arrest... and when you resist arrest, you can potentially die.

People just have no respect for the police in this country.

If you give them a hard time, the price is always unpleasant.

Officer Daniel Pantaleo was enforcing the law. Don’t fault him for doing his job.

The fact Garner isn’t alive today isn’t society’s fault. He chose to resist arrest.

What else would you expect a leftist moron like Hammel to say? The New York snooze has been a minority suck up rag for a long time. They must sell a good 200 copies on Staten Island.

I’ve decided to use black/liberal logic in these cases, where I know nothing about the evidence.

Pantaleo is white, I’m white, therefore he is innocent.

Why is a guy selling cigarettes put in a choke hold? I can think of no reasonable answer.

11 Facts About the Eric Garner Case the Media Won’t Tell You
Thursday, December 4, 2014 11:40 AM

By: Jim Meyers

Sources in the mainstream media expressed outrage after a grand jury declined to indict a New York City policeman in the death of Eric Garner, but there are 11 significant facts that many of them have chosen to overlook:

Special: Al Gore Attacks Scientist for Exposing Global Warming Lie

1. There is no doubt that Garner was resisting an arrest for illegally selling untaxed cigarettes. Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik put it succinctly: “You cannot resist arrest. If Eric Garner did not resist arrest, the outcome of this case would have been very different,” he told Newsmax. “He wouldn’t be dead today.

“Regardless of what the arrest was for, the officers don’t have the ability to say, ‘Well, this is a minor arrest, so we’re just going to ignore you.’”

2. The video of the July 17 incident clearly shows Garner, an African-American, swatting away the arms of a white officer seeking to take him into custody, telling him: “Don’t touch me!”

3. Garner, 43, had history of more than 30 arrests dating back to 1980, on charges including assault and grand larceny.

4. At the time of his death, Garner was out on bail after being charged with illegally selling cigarettes, driving without a license, marijuana possession and false impersonation.

5. The chokehold that Patrolman Daniel Pantaleo put on Garner was reported to have contributed to his death. But Garner, who was 6-foot-3 and weighed 350 pounds, suffered from a number of health problems, including heart disease, severe asthma, diabetes, obesity, and sleep apnea. Pantaleo’s attorney and police union officials argued that Garner’s poor health was the main cause of his death.

Those f-ing cops. Executed him as he stood there.

Watch the video.

The cops could have had 10 other options rather than choke the man to death.

Where’s the humanity?
