"Orleans Parish though is still out."

Good point. The GOP sure needs to strengthen it's turnout among blacks, Hispanics, and the dead.

No parishes with any substantive returns in; the highest I found was Vernon Parish with 6 out of 73 precincts in: Cassidy at 78%, running way ahead of his 58% showing in the primary. Probably gathering almost all the Maness votes.

What is the color codes on this bar chart? Two have the GOP as purple and the third has the COP as green? In all three the GOP is way ahead of the RAT!!!

Is my flash player broken or what is up with that?

99% of that is in NO.

Not really. Shreveport, 2nd largest city, is majority black.

Most of the towns and cities are close to 50-50.

99% of that is in NO.

More than half of the parishes have >30% population of blacks.

It’s over. Landrieu lost. New Orleans isn’t as crooked as it was during the 1970’s.

Practically a doubling up of a lead so far early in the game.

Looks like the purple is for the challenger, green is incumbent.

Jackson Parish

0% Reporting

D M. Landrieu (i) 50.6% 699

R B. Cassidy 49.4% 683

(i) Incumbent, * Runoff
****************************************************************************************************

This election is WAY TOO CLOSE to call!

OK, I confess I had to search a lot to find reports from a parish that has reported a close vote as of now.
