Iranian Nuclear Cheating Prompts Speculation of Pre-Emptive Israeli Strike

Quiet allegations of Iranian cheating on its interim nuclear agreement are fueling speculation in the Israeli press that Israel may be preparing to launch a pre-emptive strike against Iranian nuclear facilities, reports the Algemeiner.

The official position from Washington has been reflected in Secretary of State John Kerry’s assertions that Iran has so far adhered to the November 2013 Joint Plan of Action nuclear agreement, which bound Iran to suspend certain work at its Arak heavy-water reactor designed to produce plutonium. “Iran has held up its end of the bargain,” Kerry said last month in Vienna while announcing a seven-month extension to the P5+1 nuclear talks.

However, according to journalist Colum Lynch writing in Foreign Policy, Washington has quietly accused Iran of going on “an international shopping spree” to acquire the necessary components for the Arak heavy-water reactor to produce nuclear weapons-grade plutonium. Lynch said that the White House has so far not publicly acknowledged its displeasure with the Iranians.

It's the only way to be sure..

Suggest Ground Zero be the Holy Well at Qum. Love to find out what the 13th Imam has to say for himself.

Seriously though, ain't nobody taking out all of Iran's anything capability with one strike of anything. Iran is an area about the size of Europe, with vast mountainous areas all over the country under which the Iranians could be hiding a lot of significant counterstrike capability. Even if Iranian systems are degraded, the Israelis would be risking a lot to take on these Worthy Oriental Gentlemen alone.

Iran is an area about the size of Europe...

Without Russia, Iran is almost as large as Europe is (well, if you take away Spain, Sweden, Finland, and Norway). But remember that much of Russia is actually a part of Europe (although some of Russia is in Asia).

Wrong. Russians THINK they are part of Europe. Lord knows they try hard enough to be European and can even be trained to sing opera and dance in ballet companies. Good folks. But Russians, not Europeans. Drink some vodka with them. You'll get the picture.

Geographically speaking, it’s part of both continents. The poster wasn’t addressing culture. The Caucus and Ural mountains divide the nation between Europe and Asia.

Geographically, Russia east of the Urals is part of the European continent. Culturally, Russians have very little in common with Europe.

Very low oil prices might make this a good time for the Izzies to wack the Islamic wackos nuke program. Lots of other suppliers are desperate to make money ($60 barrel is slamming them) and will be ready to step into the breach. Matter of fact the Saudis already are pumping like men possessed and they would love to see the Shiite nuclear program set back or obliterated.
Matter of fact the current Saudi pumping program just might be a tell that the Israelis are getting ready to strike. The Iranians are clever and may have already gamed this out and expect Israeli jets to be vsiting them

(I have not read the article yet)

IMNVHO comrade, you have that backwards. Culturally, the Russkis been claiming kin with us Europeans for centuries, and many have even been trained to speak European languages and with great difficulty, to use tableware. However, I have scientifically determined that they are too far away from Paris for me to consider them actual Europeans. Furthermore, Moscow is in the same time zone with Riyadh (IIRC).

Stop trying to change my opinions in this matter. It is based upon indisputable research data.
