Ok fine, but there is no alternative remotely as fair to conservatives. If Dish Drops Fox News, I drop Dish.

Newsmax TV is a bit better.

Is it on DIRECT TV? I wish someone would start up a true Conservative Network like what Paul Weyrich had going in the mid 1990's. Excellent host and programing until the GOP-E gained control of the networks programing control. Then it went down real fast.

How’s your customer service with Comcast? I swore I would never use them again for that reason. It has been years so maybe it’s better but it left a VERY bad impression on me.

Dish Network has this bad habit of getting into too many fights with program providers. If I were to go satellite, I’d go with DirecTV instead.

We get four or five Mexican channels on Dish.
Keep Fox and ditch the above.

DISH is getting worse. I still have the two year contract till March - the satellite receiver repatedly has to be replaced #5 right now. I stated stop sending the refurbished DISH receivers from China now they send refurbished receivers from India. Why cannot anything be made here in the USA. The satllite Dish is made in China. Soon will we have more stuff from China like our cars too. GM is in China, BMW, VW , Mercedes Benz is Ford? Look what happened in Russia John Deere, Case International and New Holland were all booted out of Russia because Putin wanted to dewesternize the country. There is why the Ruble is devalued, plus the cost of oil is plummetting.

We had DirecTV prior which is much better than Dish. DROP DISH!

Just left them after 15 years. This is part of the reason why.

I do, I just signed up when I moved here, but if they are going to be losing channels so much, I feel I will have a right to end our agreement, that they are violating. They probably have language in there that protects them if they don’t give me what I pay for though.

I’ve got one too, and I like it as well as my Apple TV I have to watch purchased movies I have on iTunes.

I like DirectV, but they are all about nickel and diming you for anything and everything.

OMgosh, I hate Comcast so much! I have home phone and wifi through them here, they have the monopoly in my neighborhood. They have, no doubt, the STUPIDEST, most consumer-unfriendly, customer no-service that I’ve ever encountered in all my 58 years.

Comcast has made improvements, but the sad reality is that there is not much choices out there in the area of communications. I will not deal with DISH again.

Because DISH wants to do the “pennies on the dollar” thing that is why.

I dropped cable, best thing I ever did. We have Netflix too, but also Hulu Plus. They have quite a few shows, and current content. For instance, the wife and I enjoy watching Nashville and other shows, and watch them the next day after they are aired. Unfortunately, most cable shows (like Sons of Anarchy) aren’t broadcast until the season is over, or are 5-6 weeks into the season, but still quicker than Netflix. The only thing I miss is cable sports, but I do have antenna for OTA broadcasting, so I can get my football fix.

Boy, DISH is dropping channels left and right!

The Dish channel lineup today is what it was six months ago. They lost CNN for a few weeks, but they are back. CBS never left (in most markets) and that contract has been completed. I am sure they will reach an agreement with FNC soon. All carriers go through the same thing from time to time. Direct TV has had channels temporarily drop at times. Nothing to see here.

Must be contract time.

We get those ‘threats’ even with cable/networks.

Network/station is whining: O please apply pressure. The mean ole cable company is about to drop us from their line up because we want more money from them.

While cable is whining: O please apply pressure. The mean ole tv station/network is refusing our new contract offer and and trying to gouge us into paying them higher rates to carry them.

We go through that with various cable/networks every few years. The channels may go dark for a day, but then they reach a settlement and all is right with the world — until the next contract negotiation period.
