Cruz is in the enviable position of being in the DC 1%, that is, he is an honest man with sound principles. The same principles as those who founded our country.

But his position is unenviable because he is surrounded by the other 99%.

80% of whom are despicable slime balls, either out and out crooks or liars.

The remaining 19% are not criminals or con men, but are too wimpy to join in the fight.

They go with the flow simply because they believe in the Japanese philosophy that the nail that stands out is the nail that gets pounded and they don't have the guts to take the pounding.

They may believe Cruz is right, but they are not going to get pounded.

They will go with him when it is something easy, but not when it is going to require a fight.

So they will vote with him on motherhood and apple pie, but they are not going to fight obummer care.

So maybe my percentages are a little pessimistic. If you think so, fill in your own but the story is the same.
