We should email FoxNews and tell them to keep the lights on after 11pm. These days people on the west coast can DVR Bill Oreilly, no need to rebroadcast. It’s so old fashion.
I didn’t see any other planes ahead or behind it being diverted. It was flying straight and true and then the track on it froze and disappeared while the aircraft around it continued flying.
Maybe someone with more experience with flightradar24 can pull out some data.

Why would anyone want to do that? You mean to run it backwards and listen for Satan noises or something?
Don’t like the tense: “The aircraft WAS a ... .”
“Unusual route requested” means, with almost 100 percent certainty, a weather avoidance route different from the filed flight plan. It’s not “unusual” for airliners to request maneuvering off course, or even to propose a different routing to air traffic control when there is weather to be avoided along their route.

Leg lights?
A freak downdraft perhaps? Knocked the plane out of the sky?

Sure does sound like it got knocked out of the sky. Wonder if it was too stormy out for any other aircraft to have seen it go down.
Looks to me like it was 32000 feet, 469 knots.
What weather was going on right there?
