I am very flattered by the suggestion, but I am sure there are others more deserving of the title Most Powerful Conservative in America. Nonetheless, it is what the Atlantic has dubbed me.

Governor Palin endorsed 22 candidates for various offices during the midterm finals, including senators, governors, lieutenant governors, congressmen, and attorneys general. Of those so endorsed, an incredible 20 were elected contrasted with, for example, Hillary Clinton's record of 8 wins out 24 endorsed candidates.
Beyond the success of her endorsed candidates lies a much deeper reason for Palin being seen as "Achiever of the Year": those Palin endorsed in their respective primaries who then went on to win the general election battles. As in the past with, among others, senators Ted Cruz, Kelly Ayotte, and Deb Fischer, and Governor Nikki Haley, who owe their elections in their primary campaigns to Palin's endorsement at a critical juncture, so too could new senators Ben Sasse and Joni Ernst, and new Alaska governor Bill Walker (and, remarkably, his Democrat lieutenant governor Byron Mallott) be considered to owe all or a substantial part of their nominations to Palin's endorsement.
He’s going wobbly.
Is the Most Powerful Conservative in America Losing His Edge?
I liked how that looked in print.
I’m not a fan of Erickson. I find him to be very thin skinned in his reaction to commenters on his blog. Also he has surrounded himself with contributors at Redstate that are sycophants that shut down any dissenting opinion. They react personally and unprofessionally when a commenter does not agree with them. His blog doesn’t have the readership that Hotair or Free Republic has. If you’re the most powerful conservative you don’t have to post an article from a liberal rag saying you’re the most powerful conservative. I’ll go with Mark Levin.
My wife loves him for some reason. To me, his voice grates on me and I find that his ‘insight’ into politics isn’t all that prescient. I’d rather classify him as a collector and purveyor of conservative knowledge.
Regardless, I guess he is still a conservative, but nothing to write home about in my book.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce flexed its muscle in the midterm election, winning 14 of 15 Republican primaries in which it was involved and helping the GOP recapture the Senate. Now it wants the Republican majority in Congress to get to work.
US Chamber Of Commerce To Push Immigration Reform, Tax Breaks In Congress FoxNews ^ | December 27, 2014
The next couple years with Republican’s in control will tell the tale of WHO will become the next POTUS. It is theirs to lose and I am certain they won’t disappoint us.
Immigration reform is coming no matter what. Our goal is to make it look like what we want and not what liberals want.
If Erik is the most powerful conservative, then I gotta say that conservatism is in a heap of trouble. Ugh!
Moreover, I can’t really respect a guy who revels in being labled “red” — when any well-informed person knows that red is the long-designated and universally recognized color for the far left.
No one reads RedState. Its Alexa rank is less than half of FreeRepublic. It is essentially his personal blog with a bunch of unpaid losers hanging on his fading fame.
Take it up with The Atlantic. Erick doesn’t take the label for himself.
Because he goes on The View and that FoxNews chick show and ingratiates himself like a likable doughboy.
Oh please.
Who is paid on FreeRepublic? Certainly not me.
she mainly listens to him on the drive home from work and doesn’t see much of him on Fox. She doesn’t even watch network TV any more.
HotAir and RedState are both owned by Salem Communications. They are sister sites.
Erick Erickson is the single most evil human being alive.
