I only worry that he may not have a full grasp of the school rules.

Then Dana Loesch on Monday night’s episode of Dana on The Blaze asked about the report in the Washington Times about Congressman Gohmert running for Speaker which you can watch below.
I haven’t found a link yet, either, including on Fox News.com. They usually replay from 1 hour to the next, so hopefully, they’ll replay next hour. He was his usual great, articulate self. Talked about the poll that 60% of those that voted Rep last election didn’t want Boehner; and, mentioned a new poll yesterday that 25% said they would not vote Pub in the next election if things didn’t change. He’s upset about Cromnibus and Boehner not doing anything about amnesty. Said it’s time to get back to running the House like it should be run and keeping campaign promises(paraphrasing). Also talked about if 29 Pubs don’t vote for Boehner and vote for him or Yoho, then it goes to a second ballot, etc.
I really hope this works; if not, the few true conservatives we have will be purged from important committees.
Anyone but Boehner.

Now there is the guy for the job. Capable, former judge, solid conservative all around, articulate and determined. Someone who can raise a Conservative’s heart rate and hope for better days ahead.
I would LOVE it if Rep Louie Gohmert was speaker. But you do know that HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM with ousting Boehner.
A freeper reminded me last night that the democRATs get to vote also........................do you really think they will vote against Boehner?
well the idea of replacing boehner is growing - reaching its peak at the right time - but i don’t know if this peak is enough to replace.
i will say that irrespective of the outcome, boehner is weakened pretty good. He’ll take out some petty revenge on non-believers but it will be seen as petty and unhelpful and his power will further diminish.
it may take dem abstentions or actual dem votes to elect him - which would be quite instructive - and would damage him badly.
in any event, it’s the beginning of the end of boehner no matter what happens w/ his speakership tuesday - as long as we keep up the fight.

I agree. I’m calling my Rep and telling him to vote for Louie, though my Rep is a bit of a RINO (which is the best we can do in this area), so he’ll probably stick with Boehner.
I’m also calling Gohmert’s office to let him know that I (and many others) support and are rooting for him.
The Texas delegation needs to back Gohmert.
