I just called the Office of my US Rep George Holding (NC -13) and requested the Staffer to tell Mr. Holder to help remove Boehner from the Speakership.

Nice thoughts, and I do echo them, but that isn’t how things work out in the REAL WORLD.
In the REAL WORLD, it now costs as much as Ten Million Dollars, or more, to run for some House seats, every two years, for a job that pays $175K.
The Party Leadership controls the election money, and can control the reps by threatening to withhold it. We have seen both Boehner and McConnell use this against “Tea Party” Conservatives with great effect.
Only a Rep in very safe district, with secure, independent financing, will be willing to take the risk of going up against “The Machine”. “”

Speakers from both parties have been “stepping down” since the birth of this nation. Common terminology. To get him to do this, as my previous post say, we need dirt. The way game played.
