At this point it doesn’t matter how many enter against Boehner. All that matters is that Boehner is unable to get the needed majority.

If Boehner is unable to secure a majority, then a 2nd ballot, a 3rd ballot, a 4th ballot can shake loose a candidate that members will support.

Dems can/will vote for boehner. Such votes can and will give boehner the absolute majority - If 46 repubs vote nonBoehner [and they may] then Nancy gets 18 Ds to vote for boehner and voila - boehner is speaker due to Dem votes.

This is exactly the strategy that the execrable TX Speaker Joe Straus uses. And, unfortunately, it works. If Boehner goes this route it makes him a wholely owned tool of Pelosi.

Nevertheless, I have emailed my Rep to support Louie.

Fellow Texans in Kevin Brady's congressional district in The Woodlands/Montgomery county, Texas, I urge you to call/write and place pressure on our local RINO to vote against John Boehner as speaker of the house.

I can tell you, I call his office in Conroe, Tx. and D.C. often and they've outright told me that Brady fully supports John Boehner. Hopefully though, he will feel the pressure from folks and vote to place someone else in as speaker. Not likely, but hey, a fella can hope.

Boehner knew he would need democrats votes to get elected speaker after HIS traitorous actions to the voters that put him in power.

Also, all the Republicans who voted for it have a chance to REDEEM themselves by NOT VOTING FOR BOEHNER and getting behind Gohmert.
