Lt. Col. Ralph Peters tonight gave a detailed plan to Bill O’Reilly on how he would fight terror.

“One: You accept that you are in a war. Two: You name the enemy, Islamist terrorists. Three: You get the lawyers off the battlefield […] you accept there will be collateral damage and you do not apologize for it. You do not nation build, you don’t try to hold ground. You go wherever in the world the terrorists are and you kill them, you do your best to exterminate them, and then you leave and you leave behind smoking ruins and crying widows. In in five or 10 years they reconstitute and you gotta go back, you go back and do the same thing, and you never, never, never send American troops into a war you don’t mean to win,” Peters said.

Thanks... long time lurker. I may have been misunderstood... Col Peters is absolutely right... he’s just not PC enough to have been promoted any further in today’s military. Most great officers I’ve known topped out at LTC or Col, and guys like LeMay, Olds, LaVelle and probably even Tom Richards wouldn’t get their stars today!

I would also go further and destroy any and all infrastructure that makes life comfortable. No electricity, cell phone service, water, sewage, gas stations, hospitals, bridges, etc and I would bomb anything they tried to rebuild for 5 years.

We used flame throwers as antipersonnel weapons to clear underground bunkers and a-bombs on civilian populations.

In regards to my statement about firebombing whole cities like Dresden and Tokyo in WWII causing more civilian deaths than the A-bombs, read up about "Operation Meetinghouse" on March 9-10 of 1945. 279 B-29s dropped 1,665 tons of cluster bombs, each carrying 38 napalm and phosphorus bomblets, on Tokyo, destroying an area where 1.5 million people lived. The individual fires merged into a conflagration. Both American and Japanese authorities minimized the counts at 125,000 deaths and a million injured, but actual counts were higher. This was the single deadliest air raid of WWII, greater than the A-bomb attacks.

That's the kind of war we need to wage on the Muslims. We seem to have forgotten how to win a war.

Punitive reparations worked with Germany after World War One, because they were civilized, technologically advanced and intimately immersed in contemporary civilization, and not slaves to Neolithic religions.

None of those advantages accrue to Islam anywhere, nor has islam ever enjoyed it.

Islam must be destroyed so not even the slightest trace of it remains in human history.

There is not the slightest doubt in my mind that that is a necessity that may have been actually repeated successfully many times in human history.

Years ago, I bought Peter’s novel about a world war against the muslims. He should go back and re-write it with a ghost writer work on the first part of the book and expand how Europe exterminated their “problem.”

Peters thinks that they found their inner barbarism. I’d like to engage in that wistful thinking.

The radicals would triumph in the ME eventually with or without Sadam. The problem is that the Islamic world has a mountain of excess resources from selling oil to the infidels and from the infidels paying huge amounts of Aid and Bribes and Extortion to them. That is the formula for Jihad. Any wealth beyond that necessary to keep 99.5 or so % of the population at bare subsistence and the rest in opulent splendour goes for Jihad. It has been thus since Mohammed looked up from the desert sand. The Islamic War which is blowing up into white heat began with Mohammed, has continued since then with hiatus when resources are low and Moslem armies get beaten to be resumed when the coffers are filled again, and will end when every human being alive has Submitted- when all are Moslem or when none are.
