Presbyterian Church USA and Arab Palestinian Group Rewriting The Bible To Remove References To Israel

HAVE you heard that there is a new version of our Bible? But this version is unlike any prior version of God’s Word. This sinister new version has all references to Israel removed.

T his new version blatantly changes God’s Word. Any mention of Israel – gone. Any mention of Jesus being a Jew – gone. The movement which has brought the world a NEW bible, is called Palestinian Liberation Theology. At its heart is hatred for the Jewish people and for Israel. Of course, keeping in line with this hatred, the leaders of this satanic movement have changed Jesus (Yeshua) from being Jewish to being a Palestinian Arab.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Palestinian and Sabeel Liberation Theology groups have partnered with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) as their main support for this satanic doctrine. And no wonder, the Presbyterian Church in recent years has become rabidly anti-Israel and ferociously pro-LGBT. The name of “Israel” occurs 2566 times in 2,294 verses in the Bible.

The Jewishness of Jesus is clearly documented in the Word of God – His Jewish lineage is recorded in the books of Matthew and Luke. But remember, the leaders and teachers of the PLT are reading from a new source – their own bible, hence they have made for themselves a new Jesus.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 (KJV)

WHO IS NAIM ATEEK?

An Arab Palestinian Anglican priest is at the forefront of this very evil and satanic movement. I wonder, does he really believe this nonsense, or is it in his desperation to bring the Palestinian people into the spotlight, while cursing Israel as the little Satan? Maybe a little of both, but he is definitely a casualty to the Strong Delusion spoken of in God’s Word.

“However, something new does crop up when someone like the Reverend Dr. Naim Stifan Ateek attempts to revise history. Dr. Ateek is an Arab Palestinian Anglican priest and the founder of Sabeel International Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center in Jerusalem. He has rewritten the whole story book in the same manner that Catholic, Anglican and Reformed theologies have claimed that the Christian Church is “The New Israel” also called “The Israel of God.” Rewriting history and inventing theology is a popular vocation. Revisionist historians take liberties with facts until they cease to have meaning. Prime examples are the Holocaust denial polemics or current trends to rewrite American history texts.

Ateek has an axe to grind; he needs to advance his Palestinian agenda by displacing Israel. In an effort to push his version of Christian dogma, he rewrites the Bible and fabricates a formidable sounding contemporary social justice ideology. His personal fish story is born fully formed from the caverns of his own vivid imagination. If it weren’t so dangerous, it would be ludicrous.” [1] source

Another name for this movement is Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology.

“Sabeel (Arabic ‘the way’ and also ‘a channel’ or ‘spring’) Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center is a Christian liberation theology organization based in Jerusalem. It was founded by Palestinian Anglican priest, Rev. Naim Ateek, the former Canon of St. George’s Cathedral in Jerusalem. An official partner of the Presbyterian Church USA, Sabeel has Friends of Sabeel chapters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia.” source

Should it really surprise us that the Presbyterian church is a partner in this? I’m not surprised at all. The other mainline churches who have jumped on this heretical bandwagon are: Episcopalian, Methodist, Lutheran and even some Evangelical churches in the U.S. have followed suit. I wonder when the Vatican will thrown in their hat?

Brethren, these things sound and indeed are so incredibly evil. But as followers of Yeshua, we should be rejoicing! YES, REJOICE!

God’s Prophetic Word is being fulfilled at breakneck speed! That means that we are close to His Glorious appearing, to take us away from this horrid place! Hallelujah!!

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (KJV)

And with that translation, they get a nice little curse upon themselves too....

The Presbyterians could have saved themselves a lot of time and work if they had just replaced the Bible with the Koran.

That’s what I was thinking ... lets see, we have Genesis 1-10 with parts of 11 up until Abram is introduced. If you want to go a little farther, you could go as far as Genesis 29 when Jacob’s kids are born and end the story there.

You could include Job.

You could include Proverbs for the most part.

You could potentially include Song of Solomon, but would need to retitle it.

Pretty much the rest of the Old Testament would be gone, and all of the new testament (almost all the characters, including Jesus being Jews)

Sadly, I left about three years ago. I had served multiple times as Elder, Deacon, Trustee, in choir and taught our Adult Bible Study for many years. I loved my church, and my congregation were for the most part good believing Christians who were blind to the evil of the PCUSA senior leadership. But the leadership’s views on funding abortion, support for the terrorist state, and ordination of unrepentant sinners (homos) was a violation of conscience that I could not bear. I am still without a church; it is hard to trust again after giving so many years, and giving up all of my deep friendships with fellow believers, some of whom I have known most of my life. All of the mainline protestant denominations seem to be moving in the same direction. I would join Orthodox or even Catholic church, but I live in a very isolated area and the commute would be too much.

My husband and I have not been in an organized church for the last 15 years. I have often times thought if we should have stayed and fought for the Truths the Lord was showing us...but what little we did share at the different churches we attended was not received well. We have been happy and at peace since we left the “church.” Our faith has deepened as we have taken the responsibility for our own spiritual growth through consistent study and prayer.

There is the admonition “Come out of her my people and touch not the unclean thing.”

The ole I-don't-have-time-to-dig-out-the-references dodge.

So here's the thing: I think you're lying.

Ironically, the Bible is about Israel, written by Israel, to Israel and only for Israel. Jer.31:31 New Covenant is only for the House of Judah (Jews) and the House of Israel...CHECK IT OUT! then you explain it your way where it makes sense. I have tons of scriptures to show my perspective. F. F. Bosworth, a famous 1920’s Evangelist, the Billy Graham of his time, said that if you didn't understand the House of Judah and the House of Israel you would not be able to interpret 90% of the Bible accurately.

You think I’m lying and I believe you ignorant of history. I have nothing to prove to you. I am trying to run a business and don’t have time to search out books I read decades ago or sermon I’ve listened to. Perhaps you would do well to study before accusing others of lying.

As I said, I did not make an absolute claim, but I know for sure that over the years many who have written on these matters have tied the early origins of dispensationalism to the work of Jesuit priest Francisco Ribera. Do a few Google searches and you’ll likely find it. You might also study the influence of Robert Bellarmine and Manuel Lacunza.

Understood!
you did the right thing to get out of Satan’s church.

Calvin would be spinning in his grave, but that’s the way it is now with PCUSA.

I can only say what I would try doing.
I would look around for any decent church ... i would not have to agree with all of its doctrines.... for instance, coming from a Calvinist perspective, I would consider the still-good-varieties of Lutheranism, Church of Nazarene, and a number of additional churches, including RCatholic. Again, the idea would be to find an honest church that tries to read the Bible, period, plus offers fellowship.
You can tell when a church is trying to do the right thing, any specific doctrines can (especially in a situation such as yours where your church of choice was hiacked away from God).... you can tell when a pastor (and the congregation) are trying to do right. I guess its called discernment. Every denomination has some distinctive doctrines and frankly a lot of them are not particularly important in Sunday prayer services, or maybe get included in one prayer or hymn... but anyway if it were me, I would just gently visit any decent-Bible-oriented church that invited or welcomed me... and just patiently (and charitably) sit through a couple Sundays (or Saturdays if that’s their thing) and see what I felt like...

yes we can pray in our closets. and we can pray alone.
but it is also good, methinks, to have other sincere people to pray with, sometimes anyway.

just my thought. its your choice and I know you are in a tough situation with PCUSA having gone bad.

Stay in touch?
Best,
fhc

At root this is an attitude adjustment. One might or might not have a better choice of congregations at hand. But one can certainly be a better congregant.

There is the admonition “Come out of her my people and touch not the unclean thing.”

That is a good example of following scriptural instruction. However, Hebrews 10:24, 25 tell us we should congregate with fellow believers.
Hebrews 10:24, 25 (NIV) "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

I humbly request that you pray about how to follow this scriptural instruction as well. I am in a good place in this regard, but I am sure praying about a whole lot of other things that I need help with.

Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate the support! I don’t need to agree with every doctrine, or interpretation in a new church- I could never find a church then :-) I do feel that God is calling me to do much for Him, so I would need to find a church where the Spirit seems to lead me, and to a purpose— and that hasn’t happened yet. My old church was very sincere and Bible believing, they did not believe the heretical doctrine adopted by PCUSA leadership- my fears are the same situation in a new church that appears good at the local church level. I have attended several churches, just don’t feel the call yet. In God’s time I suppose, not mine.

This is a doggone shame! How long before they start calling the Ten Commandments, the “Ten Suggestions” Political correctness/leftism is a cancer apparently spreading from one denomination to another. I’m not a Presby, but a number of our church members are former ones, and we meet in a HS auditorium.
I’m fine with this arrangement, as there are no arguments about infrastructure : )

Some great teaching can be found on YouTube, some not so great. I like Chuck Missler among many others.
