Cruz 2016
Walker/Cruz
Half the communists will jump off the nearest bridge.
Cruz is my first choice as well. But I am thinking that Walker could be the guy who bridges the wide gap between Conservatives and the GOPe. Not the first choice of either, by any means, but also not someone they will fight tooth and nail against.
Watch for the long knives to come out very soon, especially from the Left.
Walker-Cruz 2016
Palin-West..
Hes one of the few political leaders who has the respect to unite the party, who has trust and respect on the right for his many previous accomplishments in Wisconsin, and yet he doesnt offend in any way the moderates and comes across to them as a sensible pragmatic person, Malek continued. He can bring it all together and hell be a really credible candidate.
Seems to be too much of a Chamber of Commerce kind of guy. Besides that, I'll be very reluctant to trust anyone who doesn't have a voting record in DC. We've been stung too many times.
At this point, I don't care which is at the top of the ticket.
I like Cruz and I like Walker. Both have the courage of their convictions. Walker is battle tested and has already proven he can take body blow after body blow and stick to his guns. Cruz has shown he is not afraid to be one of the few principled voices on a ship of fools.
But here is the rub. I am taking a practical approach this election. I will not choose between these two or run down any other conservative candidate until a stake has been driven through the heart of the GOP-e’s choice candidates (Christie, Jeb and/or Romney).
Then, when it comes to choosing between Cruz and Walker I will see who has the better campaign machine and the better chance of winning and that will drive my decision. I know that either one of these guys would make an infinitely better President than we have had in a long, long time.
Walker-Cruz 2016.
Or Cruz-Walker.
I can swing either way.
Let’s see how these guys weather the inevitable assaults from the likes of Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Mitt Romney before we accept or reject anyone. It is going to be brutal. Anyone with a good writer can make a good speech without scrutiny. My mind is open for Walker, but it is way, way too early.
Left Marquette early to begin working and never went back to finish. Was rumors that he was doing work on the side to get it, but really don’t think its that big of a deal.
I would think the line “look at what all of these degrees have done in Washington the last 8 years” would be the only things he’d have to say in response.
Ronald Reagan thought the same when he nominated G.H.W. Bush as his vice president. It was the biggest mistake he ever made, and we suffer for it today.
Quote: “Sarah and Cruz should step aside. Walker needs to take clear aim at Jeb and Mitt.”
I largely suspect that Walker could take them both out regardless. He has Preibus as an ally and is a proven fund raiser.
There is going to have to be mucho weeding out this cycle:
Paul, Perry, Huckster, Jeb, Christie, Cruz, Walker, Mittens, Jindal, etc.
Some are already done before they started because they simply do not have the fundraising ability. What frightens me, however, is that we will see the conservatives split again allowing Jeb, Christie or Mittens to back into the nomination. I think a big problem is Perry. I like Rick, but he sure could throw a wrench into the works.
I like Walker too, and your points are well taken.
His governing abilities are documented. The only question was could he sell them. He looks good speaking to fellow republicans. To the Marxists/unions he is the most hated man in America. He is on the top of my list.
I’ll join the chorus:
Cruz\Walker
or
Walker\Cruz
But imagine how Cruz will skewer Shrillary in the debates.
