So, the Beltway likes Walker, eh?
Well, hmmmmmm....
No college degree? The tolerant left will have a field day with that one.
Problem with e Prseidential election is that it brings out the uninformed and ignorant, thus we now have bozo and his communist pals and an ignorant cult.
But.....but....but.....he isn’t a college graduate!
He was within a few hours of graduating from Marquette when he took a job instead. I’m sure he had his reasons. Almost makes his a blue collar candidate.
He supports legals, opposes illegals.
Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Rush... never graduated from college. He’s in good company.
“Walker-Cruz 2016.
Or Cruz-Walker.
I can swing either way.”

I agree completely... with my preference being Cruz-Walker. It will be VITALLY important that we not split the conservative vote and allow an unelectable RINO to once again become the Republican nominee. And true conservative candidates cannot allow themselves to be enticed into tearing down other true conservatives.
I know that Ted Cruz recognizes Scott Walker as a fellow constitutional conservative and I don’t think that we will see him attacking Governor Walker. I hope that Scott Walker has the same wisdom and does not begin to engage in veiled attacks and criticisms against Cruz.
His record seems to indicate that he is a constitutional conservative: budget reform, union-busting, regulation reform, voter ID. His wishy-washy immigration statements give me pause. I guess the coming months will tell us about his rhetoric.
I think that’s a fair question.
Who knows maybe the Democrats here will vote for him just to get him out of Governor’s seat.
Well, in a way, that’s one of my biggest problems with Walker. His statement (when he folded) when the judge was imposing homo-marriage onto his state was incredibly lame, like someone who had ZERO fight in him when it came to the homo-fascists.
His show of strength against the union opposition is all well and good (and popular with the GOP-E crowd as well), but if Walker is going to be a spineless mush on things like amnesty and homo-marriage, I really don’t have any faith in him. Makes him seem like another Chamber-of-Commerce approved politico. I’ll REALLY get suspicious if the FoxNews beltway crowd start rhapsodically praising him!
After looking him up on the homo marriage then I agree with you.
I want someone who will speak up and stand and fight, not the wishy washy crap we get today.
Spot on, outstanding post.
A plan on how to win this.
Required reading by all Freepers.
Nice post Geraldine!
People running down Walker, Cruz or Palin are quite suspect to my mind.
We have a gaggle of them at FR ... and they pretend to be genuine freepers.
The media is going to be lovey on Walker for a long while. No long knives will come out. They need there to be two strong conservative candidates splitting the vote so that a GOP-E candidate can get the nomination. Cruz is much more dangerous to the left. I like Scott Walker. He’d be a decent president. He might be able to win the election. But conservatives need more than someone who can win an election with 50.1%. We need a dynamic leader who can inspire and teach America. Someone whose communications skills, like Reagan, can reach beyond their party and make people believe in something bigger than politics. Ted Cruz is that man, and quite frankly the only one close I have seen in decades. If all we do is win one more election the country will continue its death spiral. We need a rebirth of the ideas that made America.
“But it’s not difficult to imagine the filthy comments that pigs like The Former Twelfth Lady or Princess Liawatha would make regarding this fact. “
He took a job a few credits short of graduating from Marquette. I’ll bet his grades are better than Gore’s were. He is certainly better spoken than Biden.
Anyway, he laughs it off, and if it didn’t kill him WI it won’t kill him anywhere except maybe MA and CT.
