Sen. Marco Rubio is the latest potential presidential candidate to weigh in on the vaccination debate, coming out strongly in support of vaccinating children.
"Absolutely, all children in America should be vaccinated," the Florida Republicans told reporters Tuesday. "Unless their immune (system is) suppressed, obviously, for medical exceptions, but I believe that all children, as is the law in most states in this country, before they can even attend school, have to be vaccinated for a certain panel."
Rubio also came out against those who say vaccines are connected to autism, saying,"There is absolutely no medical science or data what so ever that links those vaccinations to onset of autism or anything of that nature."
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal also released a statement, saying there is "a lot of fear mongering" over the issue.
"Personally, I would not send my kids to a school that did not require vaccinations. Vaccinations are important. I urge every parent to get them. Every one," Jindal said.

Lol...how do you know that Measles are bad? What if the immunity gained from contracting/recovering from measles is what is absolutely needed to survive the black plague or spanish flu?
There are dangers to vaccines. One of my nephews almost died from one.
Insightful point...God save us from the do gooders who are laying the foundation for Sharia!!
Up until six years ago, we didn’t have to worry about these diseases here in the U.S.
Now days, our leaders stand by while our nation is flooded with millions of illegals from who knows where with who knows what they carry.
Just freakin sad.
Well, they INJECTED themselves into the controversy. I hope that since they are conservatives that they will NEEDLE the left. Let us hope their remarks go VIRAL!
That is my opinion too and I see a lot of “conservatives” falling for it.
We should also be vigilant in vaccinating those born here.
So then why did so many people die from those diseases if having measles is so good for you? Let’s hear it for whooping cough and mumps (guys should identify with that) and diphtheria and and and ....
Get a grip. The MSM is stoking hysteria. Why?
>>There are dangers to vaccines. One of my nephews almost died from one.<<
There are dangers to flu vaccine. Many, many more people die from flu than reactions to the virus. From what I have read, the chances of a bad reaction to childhood vaccines is about 2/1000.
Better we have a measles outbreak (or mumps or rubella) that kills thousands?
It's certainly possible, but it's worth keeping in mind that (i) this outbreak has been strongly linked to Disneyland (which draws tourists from all over), and (ii) most illegal aliens come from countries (Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras) that have vaccination rates equal to or higher than in the U.S.
Not so fast. Another side to that story:
100% of people that drink water...die.
And why do you think the government should dictate how someone raises their children? Public safety? Rot. If vaccines really work then those vaccinated are safe and you're simply being a control freak.
I am all for vaccines.
Wrong argument. Who owns your children, you or some government dweeb?
Did I say vaccines were not beneficial? No I did not. I said there are dangers to vaccines. You said there are no dangers, which is false.
This whole thing is concocted to paint Christie as anti-science.
I don’t even like Christie. But its not about whether you should vaccinate your child. Its about who decides which vaccines and when, you or the same kind of people who are arresting kids for pointing with their fingers saying “pow!”
I totally agree
So you get your children vaccinated and they will be fine, right? Let other families who do not share the same research or conviction postpone of forgo the vaccination. Agreed?
