U.S. considers declassifying report on Saudi funding of al Qaeda

The Obama administration is considering whether to declassify still-secret sections of a congressional inquiry into the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks which examined Saudi Arabian support for Islamist militants, the White House said on Thursday.

Interest in the 28-page section of the report was raised after an imprisoned former al Qaeda operative, Zacarias Moussaoui, said in deposition transcripts filed this week that more than a dozen prominent Saudi figures donated to his group in the late 1990s.

Current and former U.S. officials familiar with the report's classified section, which documented the involvement of Saudi families and entities in financing terrorism, were divided over whether it should be released.

The ONLY transparency to this ultracorrupt Islamic
administration are the medical and phone and income
records of ordinary Americans.

Obola’s shaking down the Saudis for something. Support for his pro-Iranian stance?

Obola isn't doing it. Whenever the media refers to 'the White House', they mean Valerie Jarret.

Support for his pro-Iranian stance?

Well, hers not his, but essentially I think you are correct.

Good idea. Of course, it's really just trying to change the subject after Zero condemned Christianity at a prayer meeting the other day. Meanwhile, he's sending Iran $700 million a month to help them build nukes and ICBMS.

Isis

I would guess that SA would seek solace with Russia or China.

Does anyone remember when George Bush flew Osama Bin Ladin’s family members out of the US after 9-11? I’ve always wondered why he did this.

The Bush family would not have destroyed their relationships with the House of Saud, so instead we turned against the secular forces in the Middle East (Saddam) instead of focusing on the true patrons of Jihad, the Saudis.

PLEASE look at the linked video.

This fiend had his tuition paid by Saudi Arabia.

The Halfrican has insulted Jesus Christ and all Christians.

It is absolutely INSANE (but predictable due to Universal Suffrage) that this EVIL FOREIGNER is President.

FLASHBACK: KENYA 2006 - Welcome Home Senator Obama

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCxCg6Y5w6Q

This is mind blowing and clear evidence to anyone with an ounce of brain matter that this son of a bitch is NO AMERICAN.

Undoing the damage wrought by this fiend might take decades, unless the RIGHT gets serious about dismantling the marxist machine and ramming into place policies that ensure no communist is ever elected to any Federal or State office EVER again.

No actually we don’t.

We haven’t had a POTUS who wasn’t in the pocket of the Saudis and/or been an actual MOSLEM since Reagan.

First of all, bin Laden’s family didn’t commit any crime.

Second, Richard Clark said he was responsible for it, and he was not a W Bush appointee.

Saddam Hussein was not “secular,” in the sense of let’s all get alongIn the 1990s his right hand man al Dhouri, who looks more like a red headed Scotsman than an Arab, along with Saddam Hussein, decided it would be to their advantage to harness the islamist movement. At that point- which coincided with bin Laden’s declaration of war and so on- the regime’s rhetoric became islamist, and it praised bin Laden through the state owned newspapers run by Saddam’s sons. Iraqi intelligence officials including the head of the IIS began meeting with Osama bin Laden and Hasan Turabi of Sudan [a guy who supported Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait and who also had ties to Sami al Arian the PIJ terrorist based in Tampa FL] in Sudan and in Iraq. Iran’s intel services also met in Sudan at this time with bin Laden and Turabi.

Other meetings between reps of bin Laden and Iraqi officials took place in Afghanistan. Documents from the Harmony database found in Iraq after the invasion detailed arrangements made during the reign of Hussein for meetings between islamist terrorists and Iraqi intelligence- including islamists based in London that were Saudi exiles who were thrown out of the Kingdom for their opposition activities.

The Iraqi nation’s domain - which was uruk.something, I forget the country code for Iraq or if Iraq used such a code- Saddam didn’t share hisinternet with his own people much... it was, was oddly enough, hosted on the servers of an internet company out of Richardson Texas as I recall- same one which hosted Hamas websites, and some terror charity websites, I think GRF and maybe Holy Land /HLF/Life for Relief and Development, now associated with Illinois terror cells. Before 9/11 and after up to the invasion Saddam’s speeches were posted on it and those that I read were most certainly not “secular,”
they were full of Qurannic quotes and anti American, anti Israel bile as any al Qaeda video.

Saddam actively courted the islamists, slowly introducing shariah law, cracking down on unislamic activities, etc.
He brought Islamic terrorists to al Tuwaitha to train there. He welcomed one of the world trade center bombers. He funded and armed islamist groups such as Mullah Krekar’s and Zarqawi’s groups which later merged.

Back many years before when the Shah ruled in Iran Saddam Hussein hosted a fellow known as the Ayatollah Khomeini, a Shiite. This was for the purposes of destabilizing Iran. Saddam was OK with “diversity” when necessary. Khomeini also stayed in France for some time, a country very friendly with the Baathist regime.

This change in Iraqi policy towards ever more islamist behavior was promoted by Saddam’s general al Dhouri/Douri as previously mentioned.

IN case you wondered, I think al Douri was the Ace of Spades, and he is still alive, and his group of Iraqi intelligence personnel and whoever else joined him did battle around Mosul, and merged with Zarqawi whose cell had absorbed Krekar’s group to form “al Qaeda in Iraq,” or as we know it today, ISIS, with al Baghdadi after Zarqawi bought the farm.

Google al Dhouri - he’s about 70 now but still going and being Saddam’s intel guy he has been very good at staying in the background.
