CLEVELAND -- An 11-year-old girl from a Cleveland suburb has been charged with murder in the beating of a 2-month-old who was staying overnight with the girl and her mother to give the baby's mom a break.
The 11-year-old, her mother and the baby girl, Zuri Whitehead of Cleveland, were on a couch downstairs when the mother fell asleep at about 3 a.m. Friday, Wickliffe police Chief Randy Ice said at a news conference Monday.

Or maybe she’s just a sociopath who doesn’t care about what she did (other than being caught).

It's certainly possible that this kid is a psychopath in the making.But at that age there are other possible explanations for her act...explanations that are far more "innocent".I never killed anyone when *I* was 11 but I just as surely didn't have the first clue what death was about.
Nobody....nobody *here* at least...can be *certain* what this kid will be like 15-20 years from now.

BS! Murder and hurting others is known instinctively at a very young age. Psycho’s don’t care though.
Maybe it was the 11 year old’s mother who killed the baby.
I was the psychiatric consultant to a residential treatment facility for children and adolescents for 14 years.
At one point, we had more child murderers (perps under te age of 13) than any facility in the U.S.
The one that struck closest at my heart strings was the native American 12 year old that was placed in charge of an infant during a bath and intentionally drowned her sister in a sense of sibling rivalry.
The judge literally did not know what to do and referred her to this facility where we raised her to adulthood.
