51%....probably more like 90% of people who are actually going to pay premiums or penalty tax that they never had before.

I think the author overestimates GOP courage and underestimates the treachery of the Roberts Court.

More like an impossibility as this point and then to top it off for what I cannot definitely afford you want to penalize me for it when I don’t have a way to pay my taxes at present much less barely able to pay just my mortgage each month alone I hope this scam perpetrated against the American People wakes them up as they slip into poverty and that they light the torches and march against its creator.

roughly half of those who received government subsidies to purchase insurance in the exchanges last year will have to pay back part of those subsidies because they misreported their incomes How does the writer know this? Was it due to Obamacare Navigators heavily inflating folks income or what?
To: RoosterRedux
I can’t see it being anything but a long painful path back to something different, especially given the quality of national leadership.

a case before the Supreme Court that could render a major part of the law unconstitutional.I don't think Obamacare law is unconstitutional. The law is simply being disobeyed for the convenience of the Obama administration. The Federal subsidies for states that have no exchanges are against law not the Constitution.
If the Supremes rule in favor of Obama in June they will have declared that The Law means nothing and that we are being ruled by fiat. I don't think they will do that but they have surprised me before.

We had our taxes done last week.
We only had to answer one question from the preparer, did you have health insurance all of last year.
Since I am on Medicare, it was yes, and my wife had insurance.
It was then I found out if you are on Medicare you have no further Obamacare obligation.

There were a couple of articles posted recently here that talked about this snafu. Don’t have time right now to dig them up, but it appears to be a real problem for some people.

That shouldn't be a surprise. For a full year, individuals have had to deal with canceled plans, premium shocks, higher deductibles and narrow networks of health care providers all thanks to ObamaCare By 2016 the biggest block of supporters will probably be the leadership of the NRC. Everyone else will have gotten the heads out of their asses by then. It's pretty obvious that Boehner's head is permanently attached.

H&R Block (referenced as the source) does enough returns to probably have a darn good estimate on the number of people who over-report.

No matter what legal rulings are rendered it wont matter if you have an unwilling executive branch, not to mention the 4th branch of government, the massive bureaucracy and regulatory branch full of left wingers at local and federal levels. Look at what a mess the IRS and EPA have become.

We know the DC Demmunists won't kill this completely disastrous law.
We've seen that the RINO rats won't kill this completely disastrous law.
We've seen that Roberts of SCOTUS will twist the Constitution and the law into a pretzel to preserve this completely disastrous law..
It's left to We The People to do our patriotic best to preserve freedom as well as our access to quality healthcare by not complying en masse with this completely disastrous law.

By the time this tax season is over a rude awaking is due to most Americans except the free loaders. Somehow they will get a bonus you can bet on that. King Obama will never lose his posse.

Roberts was bought a long time ago - like a two dollar hooker. Don’t expect anything patriotic and conservative from him. Further, GOP (GOPe which controls GOP) isn’t about justice either. It is about entrenched second tier power. It doesn’t know how to do anything else but capitulate. As long as they have their jobs, perks, pensions and Dachas, what the hell do they care?
