Israel: Beware of Obama

First he comes for the banks and health care, uses the IRS to go after critics, politicizes the Justice Department, spies on journalists, tries to curb religious freedom, slashes the military, throws open the borders, doubles the debt and nationalizes the Internet. He lies to the public, ignores the Constitution, inflames race relations and urges Latinos to punish Republican “enemies.” He abandons our ­allies, appeases tyrants, coddles ­adversaries and uses the Crusades as an excuse for inaction as Islamist terrorists slaughter their way across the Mideast. Now he’s coming for Israel.

I don't think people truly realize how much further we have to go before this Islamic psychopath leaves office. He leaves office January 20th 2017, that's if he even wants to leave. For all we know he could do a third term. I mean why not? It's not like Congress will do anything about it. But we still have all the way till Jan. 20th 2017. That's 22 whole freakin' more months we still have to go, an eternity when it comes to this fool. We still have to go through allll of 2015 and allll of 2016. Try to imagine how long a single year is, and then realize we have another one after that. And he's going into overdrive starting now. This guy is going to do such immense damage in those 2 years it's going to make the past 6 years look like the good old days. And what will Congress do? Absolutely nothing about it.

Yes, Congress will cower under their desks, or maybe even in their bathrooms, but there are still a lot of patriots.

He will never serve 3 terms, he'll never even start a third term.

To think this is happening in the US and his backers accept it as “normal” is as if this is a dream, a living nightmare. This evil man truly is “hardwired to do the wrong thing every time” as a Powerline post once stated. We are so screwed.

Relax. To make a serious run at a third term, he would have to get past 50 secretaries of state who would have certify him on each state’s ballot, and then be certified again by Congress.

We all know people with bad judgement and who make repeated poor decisions, like the ones who run up their credit card debts, refinance that debt onto a mortgage; though siding with a theocracy over a democracy is a little more than a poor decision.

You’d think our ‘freedom of the press’ media would notice, only as always, they’ve sided with the Democrats and they’ll report the worst-case-scenario happening when it’s too late, i.e. Stimulus bill—not a job creator, Health care bill—made it worse than ever.

Obama is coming out of the White House on January 20, 2017. If not sooner (though I won't get my hopes up for that). If Biden is forced out of office, then you might see a move made on Obama (by way of impeachment). But the awfulness of Biden is helping to protect Obama.

For those that can remember, Vice President Spiro Agnew was forced to resign back in 1973, just as Congress was beginning the process of impeaching Nixon. Nobody, not even most Republicans, could bear the prospect of a President Agnew. So getting Agnew removed and replaced with a more palatable VP (Gerald Ford) was the first step.

As soon as Ford was sworn in as VP, Nixon had to know that his fate was sealed.

Getting back to the original point, there were many of us here, back in the early days of Free Republic, who were convinced that Clinton would declare some sort of martial law or otherwise find some way to stay in office past his second term. Of course, that was never anything to be worried about. On the appointed day, Clinton slithered out of town right on schedule.

Some people on the Left were similarly convinced that George W. Bush would concoct some premise to stay in office past his second term. Of course, Bush left on schedule also. Even as he (and many of us) knew that he was turning the office over to an enemy of America.

Since 1793 there has been a peaceful transfer of power in the executive branch. That is certainly not going to change in 2017.

Let's just hope America has the sense to put a patriot back in our White House this time.

Are you sure he will leave. Come now some are comparing Obama to Hitler, who was elected than he installed himself as Fuhrer. Obama has an agenda and he will stay in DC as long as possible to ensure his agenda is in place for his lifetime

The good news is that hillary will have a harder time getting elected as Obama goes south with his months in office winding down.

I’m just not sure that there is anything really lasting that Obama can do, realistically, that cannot be undone by the next POTUS, unless that next POTUS is a liberal Democrat.

With that said, it’s not really about Obama. It’s about those that put him in office - those that saw a man that would bring people together, bring the races together - nice idea, bad execution - just a lie.
