Why does anyone care what McCain thinks? The FRussians do. He's practically foremost in their minds.

I have never been a believer in the plentiful (and, I think, fanciful) views sometimes expressed here about “stalking horses” who are in the race merely to keep someone else from winning. I think that most of those who advance those theories sound slightly off-kilter.
But, with regard to Lindsey Graham and the South Carolina primary, count me slightly off-kilter, too. I think that he is only in the race to keep a conservative like Cruz (or maybe even Pence, or Jindal, or Santorum, or Palin, or whomever) from winning.
Of course, that is without a suitable tinfoil hat. But I don’t think that a tinfoil hat would change my opinion.

Don’t bet on that.
Mom is 103 and going strong and he’s bulletproof in Arizona politics.

Sure. McCain will support Cruz right up to the moment of either his (McCain’s) re-election or Cruz’s inauguration.

Ive given up on trying to figure out conservative Arizona because of RINO McCain. But heres a question for FReepers about McCain.
If the 17th Amendment hadnt been ratified, would AZ lawmakers support McCain as one of their federal senators?

Cruz has that indefinable Reagan quality in which he is able to make firm friends when people see he is the real deal.
First Hispanic President! Yeah!!

Yeah — instead of shaking his hand, you should do that ancient Roman grab-his-forearm thing to check for a hidden knife up the sleeve.

Republican Senator pledges to support Republican nominee for President.
I'm not exactly sure why this is news.
Of course, it's always fun to take a punch at McCain, so I guess the article has some value.

Juan is running for re-election. He’s trying to see how many times he can fool the AZ voters. Might not be as easy this time.

I though Hayworth was a pretty solid challenger and McLame killed him. Is there anybody in the state that has a shot?
Obviously McLame is unbeatable if he gets the nomination.

McCain is for him?
Not at all. McCain is saying he won't bolt the party if Cruz is nominated, not that he wants Cruz to be the nominee or the president.
