OK the guy not only is leading the state, but he’s got the look.

Lots of people will vote for this guy.

Just saying.

Toss up between Rocco “Rocky” Gambino and Vincenzo “Moose” Luchese...the Five Families haven’t yet decided.

Wonder if the Laxalt name will carry the kid into office.

Don't forget the unions, but I guess I'm repeating your point...

The next "Mr. Clean face" will be in their pocket regardless of the letter (D or R) attached to his name..

Didn’t Harry Reid once defeat Paul Laxalt in the 1970s?

No, it’s the other way around.

Reid served as lieutenant governor from 1971 until 1974, when he ran for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Alan Bible. He lost by fewer than 700 votes to former governor Paul Laxalt.

It’s curious that Paul Laxalt chose not to run for another term in 1970 as Governor. I think he was getting tired of Howard Hughes always calling him at all hours of the night.

Also, he is pro-gay marriage.
I left the Republican Party here in Nevada when they dropped pro-life from their platform.

Laxalt is RIGHT on all issues. He would win big.

You got that right. When the feds forced the Mafia out of the casinos, they took over just about everything else: construction, transportation, waste removal, liquor distribution, food wholesaling, etc. No secret why staying in Vegas is now an expensive proposition. Gimme the old days when the mob ran the casinos and took their cut off the top. I liked cheap rooms, cheap food, cheap entertainment, and free drinks with the gambling.

The government and the mob are both parasites.

The difference is, the mob has limits.

Sandoval hasn’t shown the stomach for such a fight. He walked into both terms a Governor.
