Can you imagine if in 2008 a prominent conservative media member had said that Barack Obama looked like a "little boy" compared to John McCain? The echoes of liberal outrage would still be resounding today.
But there was Mika Brzezinski on today's Morning Joe saying of Marco Rubio "that's a little boy." Mika made the invidious comparison to Hillary's service as senator, First Lady and Secretary of State. Scoffed Joe Scarborough: "hearing this from two people [Mika and Donny Deutsch] that worshipped Barack Obama in 2008 is laughable."

I had a similar reaction to the headline even before I read this opening paragraph.
Finklestein saw it.

Well if you’re going to compare. Compared to Hillary, Rubio has never been fired from a legal team for unethical behaviour.
we spend billions of dollars a year for intelligence on other countries, but Hillary had to have her own private, secret intelligence operation in Libya.
Why?
She thought she could do better? With a handful of people? Nope.
She was looking for specific information that was not of a military nature.
She wanted to know where Qadaffi’s money was and who would be willing to kill him.
That’s the kind of person Mika wants as our President. A lying, thieving, murdering Democrat.

I know perfectly well who Mr. Finkelstein is and am aware that he purports to be a sentry of some sort.
I have criticized him in the past for doing little more than spreading the word from the Morning Joe folks to those who don't get up early enough to see the show.
And, more to the point, for acting less the watchdog than a performing poodle who, as he has said himself, wishes to deliver the news from the ugly, relentless, lying, deviant hard left "with maybe a touch of humor", or some such nonsense.
I don't see anything funny about them.
Mika should buy herself a vibrator with Hitlery’s picture on it.

You know that I have jumped you and your organization in the past for being late, passive and unconvincingly (and nearly constantly) offended.
What you are doing here is typical: raising a point of fairness in a battle in which there IS no etiquette, and what’s worse, having to harken back to 2008 and John McCain to do it.

The rule of Media Matters, and most of the Republican Party, is: When You Are Hit Let Out An Injured Yelp and Hope Someone Will Finally Feel Sorry For You.
